SA need 57 from 192 balls.

    Bit of a tough ask.

Shane's not sure this 'touchy feely' aussie stuff is a good thing.

Shane Warne was unimpressed by the new buzzwords and catch phrases in Australian cricket, saying it was "verbal diarrhoea" and that "it makes you vomit," as the administration and team attempt to recover from the fallout of the ball-tampering scandal at Newlands in March.

Bairstow is out of the first test (starts on Tuesday).

Buttler or Foakes to deputise behind the stumps.

Looking for a rock to scramble under.

I hope we win another game this decade.

Does a Thailand primary school have a OD side?

So England recovered from 103/5 to 321/8, mainly due to the heroics of debutant Foakes (87n.o.).

It seems those three Lions tours and playing some club cricket in Sri Lanka prepared him nicely.

A debut Ton for Foakes, with some valuable runs added by Curran and Rashid, gave England a score of 342 in the first innings.

And now Sri Lanka are 42/4.

    Good effort lads.

Sri Lanka bowlers Dilruwan Perera and the retiring Rangana Herath claimed two wickets each.

Took a while for England to get going, but now Sri Lanka are 98/3.

    Good grief,

    Pak v NZ;

NZ all out for 153, Pak 22 for 0 in 6 in reply could be a long day tomorrow for NZ and a short Test.

I wouldn't be that confident. They have a lead of 278 with one wicket left, and Sri Lanka scored 336 in their first innings.

Should be a great day's cricket.

You know the thing about fourth innings scores, right?

England will be very short favourites.

    SL 38-3 chasing 301.

There was never any way England's spinners were going to bowl as badly as their SL opponents did yesterday morning.

This could be over by tea

SL v Eng; looks close. SL putting up a good fight 165 / 4, 136 needed to win
