Not that I follow the NBA but I watch Sportscenter regularly so I get to hear about basketball.
Years ago I lived with a basketball freak who made me sit up and watch the NBA hi=lights show when Jordan was doing his thing and I learned to appreciate the skills and the way the game is played.
A week or so ago, Kobe Bryant had made a run of 4 or 5 games where he scored over 45 points in each game.
That's impressive.
But I read in today's Post that Bryant scored a massive 81 points in the Laker's 122 - 104 victory over the Toronto Raptors.
It's the second highest score on record after Wilt Chamberlain's 100 :wow: points for Philadelphia in 1962.
It's quite an acheivment. I'd say it's equal to about a test 500 in cricket or scoring 10 goals in an EPL game.
Kobe, you get my 'Poolcleaner Sportsman of the Month Award' :1st:
