Get your fill while you can then, traditional holding back by the ABs during Super Rugby in a WC year...

Chiefs are indeed getting a pasting.

How good are Goodhue and Cameron?

...er...not Cameron (though he's a another young one with great potential), but Will Jordan, another product of the Crusaders academy.

Ennor is a better center than he is a winger and he and Goodhue are the future of the Crusaders (and potentially ABs too)

I believe Goodhue already has had a stint in the black jersey. But yeah, Ennor is looking the goods.

    I suspect you are correct.

ABs are really lacking quality international centres, Crotty probably still the best you have. You've got half a dozen decent, but flawed centres, two young 'uns on display today are probably as good as you have, but still average to be AB centres, imho. Without Ben Smith, your FB position is looking weaker than it has in years, and even the 10 position which you're usually outstanding at, I don't see that much depth of high quality 10s. The ABs are the best team in the world and will be the team to beat this year, but they are beatable by half a dozen other teams, imho, very unusual...

Chiefs still getting a pasting, look like they'll ship 50+ points today.
How do I post these pictures???

I'm finding it a bit frustrating seeing him play wide though. He's wasted on the wing.

That being said it's just a symptom of the talent log-jam those red bastards have.

Maybe a bit of light for the Chiefs? He did well to get that down, made it look easy too.

They're definitely still in it at the half. Arguably playing the better rugby too

They played a blinder last week. I like seeing some of "lesser" teams do well, good all round for Rugger.

No one 6N game a year is enough for me, if lived closer would go more, next trip to Murrayfield will probably be for one of the friendlies before the World Cup.

    Super Rugby 2019

    Round 5

    Kickoff local (TST)

    Friday, 15 March

    Chiefs v Hurricanes 1935 (1335)
    Brumbies v Waratahs 1945 (1545)
    Stormers v Jaguares 1910 (0010 Sat)

    Saturday, 16 March

    Sunwolves v Reds 1315 (1115)
    Hurricanes v Crusaders 1935 (1335)
    Lions v Rebels 1505 (2005)

    Bye: Blues, Sharks, Bulls

    *********************************

    Picking the winners

Chiefs v Hurricanes -- Canes by 15. The Chiefs have been awful, but the Canes, although playing reasonably well, haven't really set the comp on fire.

Brumbies v Waratahs -- Brums by 8. The Waratahs, like the Hiurricanes have had some success, but they're not all that. Brums, if they turn up and play like they have against the Chiefs they should get one over the 'tahs.

Stormers v Los Jaguares -- Jaguares by 9. Los Jaguares were outplayed last Saturday against the Lions, but I reckon this week they'll play with more discipline (I seem to say this every week, lol) and will get past the Stompies. This fullback Ramiro Moyano has been a scoring machine and if Boffelli and Delguy get going, the Jaguares' backfield could run riot.

Sunwolves v Reds-- Sunwolves by 4. The Sunwolves have been putting on performances that make the statement, "We belong in this comp!" Playing in front of a home crowd should get them a win.

Highlanders v Crusaders-- Sadists by 14. Who can stop this juggernaut? Maybe the Highlanders. I believe they were the last team to defeat the mighty Crusaders. Never mind. Chalk up another Canterbury win.

Lions v Rebels -- Lions by 7. Lions put on a great offensive display against the Jaguares this past week. The Rebels have been playing great Rugby and like the Crusaders are an undefeated side. The class combo of Genia and Cooper have really sparked the Victorian team. However, altitude, travel, and their past performances in the republic makes me want to give the nod to the Lions.

Have a great weekend and happy rugby viewing!

you can also get a train from wherever to CARDIFF CENTRAL for the game of the SEASON.
WALES TO CLAIM THE GRAND SLAM.
even if you cant get a ticket, just stand outside anywhere within a mile or two, that will be like sitting in the front row.
