I won't quote the pic 'cause it's not worth seeing again . Bit of a pity that, there were some not bad looking sorts in among them with some seriously fit bodies that were also bi-lesbian too (in my mind)

And you and your fucking shit game of Union!. After the 2 Intl matches yesterday - that were both boring because they were both so one sided - the Publican switched over to the Ireland v Australia Yawnion match. With the final siren about to sound and Australia with ball in hand needing to score a Try to win our table of 5 had a quick 1000 Baht bet on how Australia would fuck it up. My call was a forward pass but knock-on, penalty against, bad kick, and turnover were all covered. Throwing the ball out on the full was not, so we all got to keep our Gorilla. Honestly, and I say this with hand on heart, the girls in the SOO would have scored or at least gone down fighting. Their ball skills were FAR superior to these completely useless Union hacks on a Million bucks a year. Cvnt of a game....

I watched the girls play Friday night and was also surprised at how good they are.

There's a few NRL goal kickers that could take lessons from those girls converting tries from the sideline too.

Definately better than watching Brazil taking dives....

Interesting watching Cooper Cronk greet all his ex team mates after the Roosters v Storm game.

Its definately cold betweem him and his "best mate for life" Cam Smith

Good to see Robbie Farrah & Moses Mbye in the Tigers, even if the result wasn't a great one...
Also good to see a sell out Leichhardt Oval.
Mbye had a blinder, fitting in well with the rest of the team as though he's been there all year.

Really entertaining game tonight Storm v Dragons.

Both teams without their origin stars, tries were coming like a girl with a new set of batteries in her vibrator.

It was even trading of scoring and anybody's game until about 15 minutes to the end, the Dragons were ahead, 28-30.

Then 4 quick tries to the Storm sealed it. 52-30

A total of 14 tries were scored.

^Smith the GOAT was the difference, you just knew he'd get sick of the see-sawing battle that was going on and grab the game by the horns in the 2nd half. Highly entertaining football to watch but they've just got to show more footage of Bellyache in games like this!. He'd have done more miles in/around/out the back of the coaching box than most Forwards did during the match .

It'd be hard not to think a Storm v Rabbits GF looks highly likely at this point. Still plenty of games to go and there's always the chance of injuries but those 2 teams look most likely to battle it out for now. They next play each other on Aug 3.

Some cracking/interesting games on over the week-end.

Here are my 4 must watch games

    Starting tonight ...

    Brisbane v Cronulla

The Broncos were blown off Suncorp Stadium by 26-6 at the hands of the Warriors in Round 18, but responded in the best
possible way last week, smashing the Panthers by 50-18.
Which Broncos side will show up at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday night?
The Sharks recorded a controversial win over the Raiders last week and need to win here to keep in touch with the Top 4.

    ---

    Manly v Penrith

Saturday can’t come soon enough for both of these sides after they were humiliated in their respective matches last week.
The Sea Eagles were hammered 56-24 by the Roosters, while the Panthers were handed a 50-18 hiding by the Broncos at
    Suncorp Stadium.
It would have been a tough week at training for both the Sea Eagles and Panthers, but who will bounce back at Brookvale
    this weekend?

    ---

    Melbourne v Canberra

The Storm moved to the top of the ladder after their tough 12-6 win over the Warriors last week and will be looking to
continue their winning streak when they host the Raiders in Melbourne on Saturday night.
The Raiders had their slim finals hopes extinguished in controversial fashion against the Sharks last week and it will be
interesting to see how they respond here.

    ---

Saving the best till last, Sunday winds up with ...

    Sydney v St George Illawarra

A cracking finish to Round 20 when the 4th-placed Roosters host the 2nd-placed Dragons.
The Roosters blew the Sea Eagles off the park last week, while the Dragons got the job done against the Cowboys in Townsville.
The Tri-colours will also be out for redemption after losing the ANZAC Day clash by 24-8 to the Red V

    .
Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago ...

this morning 1.45am.it was saints v warrington, saints with a 10point lead at the top were shaken when the wolves came out like a pack of hungery ausi's and went into the break 8nill up.second half saints must have had a right bollicking from their coach and scored a try within minutes.what a game with the score at 12-12 and 3seconds to go saints had a penalty,5meters inside their own half making the kick 55meters.
WHAT happened next over it goes, saints won the game that they never looked like winning.
    pass me my BP.meds.

I guess you're talking primarily about the disallowed Sharks try. For me, he didn't ground the ball on anything besides a Bronco boot but because it was sent upstairs as a try I don't think there was conclusive proof in the replays to over-rule it and the ball could have grazed a blade of grass. It should have been awarded. But, the Sharks got the rub of the green BIG TIME when the Ref's mugged Canberra for 2 points last week so what goes around....

The Ref situation is becoming a total fucking joke now, this is costing teams dearly and at this time of year with top-8 and top-4 positions up for grabs in a tight race that's not a good thing. One of my biggest gripes is The Bunker can't rule on forward passes, they can in Rugby Union and from what I've seen they do a good job of it, so why TF can't they in the NRL?.

Anyway we've still got some really good match-ups to be played this weekend, fingers crossed the Ref's don't fuck any of them up (but sadly, I think they will )....

The first game of Rugby League (at the SCG) I saw was the final between the great St George side and Canterbury Bankstown in 1967.

Canterbury won 12-11 knocking St George out after 11 consecutive premierships and then losing to South Sydney in the Grand Final.

I still remember that Bob McCarthy intercept.

The Bulldogs this year are running last but most of their performances have been competitive and I predict next season they will do a lot better.

^They'll be short priced favourites for the Wooden Spoon next year. The players stopping them from being flogged by 40 points each week right now are Hopoate, the Morris twins and Klemmer, most of whom will be elsewhere next year. It'll take 3 to 5 years - at best - for them to get out of this mess and be competitive again.

Would really like to know the truth of how Castle and Hasler got the club into this absolute fucking disaster of a situation in the first place, and why the NRL didn't step in earlier when it was obvious that they'd gone rogue. 900 Grand a year for Aaron Fucking Woods, what sort of drugs were they taking and where was this sort of money coming from?.

^I can't say Woods represents the most money paid for a shit player this season, that distinction goes to the Broncos buying Jack Bird
