City transfer target Rodri is expected to make a decision on his future this week, with only his signature needed to complete the switch from Atletico Madrid.
“City are hoping to complete the transfer of long-term target Rodri this week.
Pep Guardiola has targeted 22-year-old Rodri as a replacement for Fernandinho.
City triggered the Spaniard’s release clause in his Atletico contract, after launching a €70m (£62m) bid for the midfielder.
“Rodri has been sitting on the offer for around 15 days, Spanish newspaper AS claim.
“Rodri is expected to make a decision on his future this week, and he could become City’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
“But the fact that he hasn’t already agreed to sign for the Citizens could worry Guardiola.
“Rodri has shown immense potential in his brief spell at the Spanish capital.
“His ability on the ball, as well as reading of the game, could make him the perfect replacement for Fernandinho.
“He’s also 6”3’, meaning he could provide a physical test for most attacking midfielders in the Premier League.

West Bromwich Albion are still on the hunt for a new manager after the shock dismissal of Darren Moore back in March, however, the play-off semi finalists seem to have finally eyed up their number one target.

According to Rob Dorsett of Sky Sports News, the Baggies interviewed the former West Ham United head coach yesterday evening and the Croatian impressed so much, that he was moved straight to the front of the queue.

Albion are obviously taking their time to get the right man for the job and despite Bilic now being in pole position, Express & Star have reported that the midlands club hierarchy are still very much keen to talk to current Charlton Athletic boss, Lee Bowyer, before their final decision is made.

Don't know how you blokes can follow this shite. The players and teams have as much loyalty as an alley cat. Players play for teams they cant even pronounce properly. Most of them would probably get lost in the town that their club is named after and if they were couldn't ask for directions from a local as they wouldn't understand one. The way most of them fall over at the slightest touch grabbing their leg in agony, they should be all playing in tutus. Still in this age of equality I suppose we need a game for the snowflakes to play. All you girls feel free to titter about your heroes. Leave the mens games to the men.
    Carry on girls.

    Man Utd Deal Done

Wales winger Daniel James is set to complete a move to Manchester United after the Red Devils agreed a deal with Swansea City worth about £18m.

James, 21, is expected to finalise the transfer before Wales' Euro 2020 qualifier in Croatia on Saturday.

The deal will see United pay about £15m up front for the twice-capped international, with the remainder of the fee in add-ons.

It is thought personal terms are agreed with a medical scheduled for today.

James will become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing since becoming United manager.
