FA adopt ‘Rooney rule’, Wayne's world rules

I'm filling in application for mother in law tonight

Football bosses will have to interview an ethnic minority candidate for the England manager’s job in future under a bonfire of the blazers overhaul.
The reforms, billed as the most wide-ranging cultural changes at the Football Association since it was founded in 1863, are designed to shed the damaging image of the game as a sport run by white men.
In one of the most eye-catching changes, the FA said that the principle of American football’s “Rooney rule” will be applied to all frontline coaching roles, including the England manager’s job currently held by Gareth Southgate.
This states that at least one black, Asian or minority ethnic (BAME) candidate is interviewed for a post when it comes up - so long as there has been an application that meets minimum recruitment criteria

One does wonder though if John Barnes, Ian Wright, and Sol Campbell all applied for a job, say Fan Liaison, would they then have to interview GAzza as well?
