Obviously early, but Man United's performance against West Ham was sublime (OK, I'm biased). The speed of their attack, and assurance of the defence was a pleasure to behold. Matic is proving to be a great signing, and is a great foil for Pogba, and just when you think it's all over, switching Rashford for Martial just took the appetite from West Ham. All over the park, on paper at least, they seem to have every position more than covered.

Yeah, if you can't motivate your team to at least give 100% on opening day then things ain't looking good.

They looked far worse than Newcastle.

When the big idea of the summer is Joe Hart on loan...

I've just read that they didn't win a single pre-season game!

Only 90 minutes into the season, but they desperately need win in their next match or else the knives will be well and truly out.

    Another 4 - 0 win for us.

Still clinging to the "boring boring Mourinho" line, Cy?

Certainly seem to have strength in depth at the moment. Jones and Bailly seem to be forming an effective partnership in central defence, with left back the only real area that needs improvement, which hopefully will be resolved once Shaw is fit again. Blind is a classic 'all rounder' but doesn't have the pace to get forward as quickly. Martial again demonstrating his speed and is great at coming off the bench in the latter stages, and running at tiring defences.

Obviously not yet met any of the other title contenders, however on these past two performances and the building of confidence, they shouldn't be fearing anyone.

You've beaten two of the weakest teams in the division. Swansea have sold 15 players including the guy they would have been relegated without last season. They have basically already said 'hello championship'.

The media knicker-wetting this last week has been amazing.

A: Because all the cups are in Manchester.

You do realise it was 0-1 for 80 minutes?

I mean, you did watch the game?

This lad Mounie will get goals for Huddersfield if they can get the ball to him in dangerous areas.

Danny Murphy, Ian Wright and Alan Shearer pick their best Premiership 11.

You can pick it for the next 500 years and there will never be a better keeper than Schmeichel.

Aaron Mooy was the difference yesterday. Best player by far in the first half, and providing the quality finish in the 2nd. Terrier's first ever EPL goal at home.
Our goalie kept us in it as well (as Toon's woeful misses in front of goal).
    2/2. Great start.
