    Mane out for 6 weeks.

I'm pleased about that ahead of Saturday, but I hate this game. Playing Liverpool is on my mind from the start of the week and to beat them is massive; to lose against them murders me.

I'd happily take a draw now. Just get this game out of the way.

They had pure pace up front, just what Palace needed.

Watford pissed all over the gunners as well.

Well, when Morata is injured it's obviously a good time to play Chelsea. That's their Achilles heel and they can be expected to be buying big again in January.

For Palace a lot rests on Zaha staying fit. It's a huge step down to Andros Townsend.

Hodgson will have been working for the last fortnight on shape and on everyone knowing their job. Supposedly simple stuff that Palace have been poor on for years.

Leicester have parted company with manager Craig Shakespeare following Monday's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion, the club confirmed on Tuesday, with sources telling ESPN FC that they want Thomas Tuchel as his replacement.
The former Premier League champions sit 18th in the table after only one win in their opening eight games of the campaign, a 2-0 win against Brighton on Aug. 19.
Shakespeare was named permanent Leicester manager on a three-year contract in June after keeping them in the Premier League following a relegation battle last season.
He replaced Claudio Ranieri, who was sacked in February, on a temporary basisand led the club to six consecutive wins in all competitions and eight wins in 16 games overall.
"Craig has been a great servant to Leicester City -- during his spells as an assistant manager and since taking over as manager in challenging circumstances in February," Leicester vice chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said in a statement.
"His dedication to the Club and to his work has been absolute and the contribution he made to the most successful period in Leicester City history is considerable.
"However, our early promise under Craig's management has not been consistently evident in the months since and the Board feels that, regrettably, a change is necessary to keep the club moving forward -- consistent with the long-term expectations of our supporters, board and owners.
"Craig is and will remain a very popular, respected figure at Leicester City and will be welcome back at King Power Stadium in future, both professionally and as a friend of the club."
Assistant manager Michael Appleton will lead the team on an interim basis for Saturday's game away to Swansea City.
Sky Sports reported that former boss Nigel Pearson -- who is now in charge of Belgian club OH Leuven -- was not a candidate for a return to the King Power Stadium and sources close to the club told ESPN FC that former Dortmund manager Tuchel is their top target.

    Come on Huddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Despite Man U having something like 98.5% possession, Huddersfield hit them on the break and banged in 2 first half goals. Then ran themselves ragged defendeding Trojan-stylee second half to hang on for a 2-1 win.
I've bitten all my nails off.

3 much needed points for Huddersfield, Utd were very, very poor and Town played excellent and deserved the win.
Gonna be some partying that even Hurricane Brian carn't dampen in the town tonight.

Man City had another comfortable win, what a day for Northern clubs!

    City 5 points clear!

Southampton 1-0 West Bromwich Albion - BBC Sport

70% possession by Saints, Baggies parking the bus, Lemina showing why he'll be going to the top 5 for £100 mil plus next season and a 'goal of the season' contender from Boufal. Puel getting into his stride as an EPL manager?

    C'mon Saints
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

How bad was the performance against Arsenal? Listening on the radio, Steve Claridge was saying it was the worst team he'd seen all season and he was genuinely worried for Everton's relegation prospects. However, he didn't actually substantiate why beyond platitudes like 'lack of belief' and so on. Very little insight. I suppose he IS Steve Claridge after all.

I wasn't surprised that Shakespeare was sacked last week after watching them against West Brom the previous week. My first time in King Power. Very Premier Disney League experience that with messages in English and Thai in memory of Rama 9 on the hoardings and a lovely family club atmosphere that made me feel very strange. Regardless, Leicester weren't that bad but they didn't seem to give much of a fuck and when Mahrez scored the equaliser, I don't think I've ever seen a team so apathetic about saving a point. No player seemed to celebrate besides Mahrez himself and no one went to celebrate with him. It was more like a team that had gotten a consolation goal at 5-0 down. Something not right there.

West Brom? I don't think Pulisball will be enough to keep them out of trouble this season. Johnny Evans is a cut above though. Looked the classiest player on the pitch.

I reckon Kenwright wanted Rooney and Koeman wanted Klaasen and Siggy, so RK managed to fool himself that Rooney was still an out-and-out goalscorer.

So basically they signed three number tens and no goalscorer in the summer.

West Brom will be in the drop zone at some point in the next three weeks for sure...Pulis is already getting his excuses in.

Jonny will be warming a bench in the Champions League in February, probably next to Yaya.
