Yeah, I read the write up on him in this game. One of the reasons why I wanna watch some of it.

Vikes look good. Need a hb though. McKinnon and Murray won’t get it done in the playoffs.

Rams look very legit. Can I claim supreme victory yet, red? 55

those two meet next week. Should be interesting.

The chargers are the dumbest team in the lg. Anyone see the final three mins of that meltdown?

certainly possible...and i think the eagles are the current favorites to win the superbowl....and i don't know why anyone would be against brady and belichick.

but eagles still have to play the cowboys twice (and elliott should be back for that second game) and the rams.

and i have a sneaking suspicion that there will be more upsets than usual in the playoffs this year.

    I don’t think Keenum did.
They are talking about starting Bridgewater next week.
Not a good idea, IMO. The offense is clicking with Keemun. Don’t try to fix something that’s not broken.

Considering your repeated insistence that Tavon Austin was a budding superstar in the making who would be a huge difference maker in their turnaround, and you had no idea they were going to fire Jeff Fisher after all those years (which seems to have been the reak catalyst for the turnaround) and the Cardinals season took a giant shit day one when D Johnson went down, I think its reasonable to go ahead and mark this one down firmly in the "wrong clock is right twice a day" column.

    Sorry about that

Damn that's crazy. It will be nice to see him on the field again after such a horrible injury

Dallas is not the same team as last year with or without, Elliot.

Their top O-lineman is injured and also LB Sean Lee will miss a week (or more).

the "ifs" are on pace to have more or less the same record as last year when johnson played in every game (and palmer only missed one game).

they're having a mediocre season....which is to say a typical "ifs" season.

yeah, yeah...i know....they did win a playoff game this decade.

    congrats.

^ somehow you didn't address the point of how the "ifs" are right on track for the exact same record as last year when johnson played every game and palmer missed one.

i guess you just didn't see it, eh sport?

    anyway....

surely the league is just bluffing about trying to take the cowboys away from jerry jones, right?

The Associated Press has obtained a letter sent by the NFL to Jerry Jones' attorney accusing the Dallas Cowboys owner of "conduct detrimental to the league's best interests" over his objection to a contract extension for commissioner Roger Goodell.

The letter accusing Jones of sabotaging the negotiations was sent to David Boies on Wednesday. Jones hired Boies and threatened to sue the NFL if Goodell's contract extension was approved by the compensation committee, made up of six team owners. All 32 owners voted unanimously in May to let the committee finalize a deal with Goodell.

The letter, first reported by The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, was written by outside counsel for the compensation committee and given to the AP by a person who requested anonymity because it was not intended to be made public.
