mike tomlin just said that the steelers won't be on the field for the national anthem.

i'd guess he's trying to avoid controversy, but i'd also guess he guaranteed it.

I think more and more players with years in the league and now retired in their 40s are wondering.

Where am I? Where will I be in the future with this (if at all)?

there isn't an "X" or "O" in "CTE".

How many posts do I post off of the Xs and Os compared to you, sir?

As for the Hawks v. Titan, Eddie "cookie" Lacey will be active and play.

We'll see if you can just run straight into a wall of opponents or try to cut (even with the line we have).

DeMarco Murray will play although we don't know how strong he is. 2 Titan safeties are scratched.

How about the Bears v. Pitt game?!

    NE v. Texans? Go Texans.

Man so many good games this week. Let's hope the Cards are able to muster something for Game 3 and head into first place. I mean, someone's gotta win this division right? And who is seriously picking the Rams.

All Cardinals need to do is get competent

I picked the Cowgirls, but seriously, I'd like to see the Cards beat them!

I picked the Titans against the S-Hawks today and was correct.

Wake up call for the 'entitled' following in Seattle who haven't figured out that the SB window closed in February of 2015.

Palmer very hot to start. Then the Cards D stops the Boys 3 and out. Hope to catch the first half.

    Carson is spot-on so far.

Tied at 14 going into the 4th Quarter starting.

Critical 3rd and a long 1 for the Cards.

Well thank the football gods the Cardinals lost. I hate the Cowboys but I can not call myself a Seahawk fan and root for a division rival. Leave that for posers like cold pizza/barbara.

With regards to my Seahawks it was a very weird Sunday. The O line showed some improvement and only gave up one sack, RW threw for 373 yards and four touchdowns. But the defense was horrid. I never saw this crew play so bad. Flat footed and towards the end they just they looked plain gassed. So I still have no idea what this team is at this point. Then of course Shermans melt down. Just odd.

I rooted for the Cards b/c they are not a threat to win the division. Watch the Rams, though. They ain't great, but they've seemed to improve so far.

Interesting game in the first half for me. Odd, yes.

Not a lot of offensive yards in the run game.

It seems (I haven't seen the tape) that Ifedi was doing alright and Aboushi held his own.

The defense gave up some big running plays and yes they looked gassed. I presume it was the heat.

Sherman spit the dummy again - but I was not surprised.

As we know, Seattle has a weak schedule this year. Horrid Indy at home next week, but watch out for the Rams in LA after that.

Easy schedule this year. But IMO, they will not beat superior teams.

I think by default any of the teams is a threat to win the division this year. No one is playing good. Well I mean the Rams but they haven't actually played a real team and won either

That is correct the line was better but still not good enough.

It's wide open at this point that is why I am glad you guys lost yesterday. I am not surprised about are troubles on offense but that defensive collapse on Sunday was a shock to see.

And the stat-anal on Odhiambo makes him the absolute worst in the league, IF, you believe PFF, and I usually do:

PFF has Rees Odhiambo ranked 72nd out of 72nd of all NFL Tackles- his grade is 27.1

    Yes, the D foooked up.

    But I think this is a one-off.

Some SHIT teams coming to town! Next week, the hapless Indy Colts at home!

Please, let's get those coaches to hammer the fundamentals and "do your job" stuff!

Cardinals offensive line has gotta be right up there with the Hawks. Difference being we have a statue as a QB who truly needs protection to play well.

Palmer and Fitz both played pretty damn good last night. Palmer was especially impressive considering the brutal beatdown he was taking all game long.

That catch by Fitzgerald was the best catch of the early NFL season. Pretty sure L Fitz had around half of Cards total catches/yards.

    Catch is from 2:30-3:20
