Might be for the best because Petersen should be able to use this to motivate the team.

    Agreed.

The way the National Champs were selected in the past was a ridiculous sham.

I recall Nortre Dame getting called for high level bowl games when they were only and above average team.

Alabama plays #14 LSU at Lafayette this weekend.

Auburn currently #9 will be their season finale.

UW now #4 as Ohio State lost to Penn State and Michigan moves into #2.

Where did you read this? Washington is #5 in the CFP rankings and that is all that matters at this point.

As of this week those polls mean nothing for the final four. The poll mentioned by bsnub is the only that matters.

Yes I gathered that from a tad more internet search.

The NCAA.com site is rather humorous in regaling how all of the Top 15 could be in position to become # 1 if the heavens divine.

Sorry UW is at # 5 in CFP though still # 4 on my chart.

Well Texas A&M lost today so if Washington beats Cal tonight they will be fourth in the CFP ratings.

21-20 middle of the second quarter. Your barn burner prediction is spot on. Win or lose Cal is fun to watch. Just a little D and oh what a team. Wishful thinking though.

Boom 28-21. 50 or more each?

^ I do not see it being 50 or more each. Dawgs D is to good for that. They made a couple of coverage errors that cost them the two of the TD's. They will not keep doing that, but you never know. 35-20 at half.

Always nice to have the Dawgs soften up the opposition the weak before WAZZU plays the same team ...

Waiting anxiously to see. Some think the committee might put the Buckeyes back in the Top 4.

I would not be surprised with those folks. OSU is good, but to push out UW again?

    Fuck off.

If they do its rigged. 66 points against Cal. Kept the quiet the whole second half as well. 2 or 3 would be the right place to be.

They're lucky to be at 4.

It's a good story, AO, but at the end of the day, they really haven't played anybody.

With the exception of Alabama playing SIX ranked teams ... Michigan, Clemson and Washington "really haven't played anybody" while your bullshittin (and trollin).

Even Ohio State has only played two ranked teams.

^ Each of them ... including Washington has played TWO ranked teams. And pretty sure Penn State wasn't even in Top 25 till they beat OSU.

Edit ... You probably meant Nebraska instead of Penn State.

Either way ... teams like Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska strike about as much fear into an opponents heart as does UCLA, USC, CAL.

^ At the end of the day my Dawgs are in. I have been to games and watched them all. They are an amazing team on both sides of the ball. I look forward to the days ahead.

That may very well be the most ridiculous statement you've made.
