There is a huge clash in the early Premier League kick-off on Saturday afternoon as Manchester City host Liverpool at the Etihad.
Both sides have picked up seven points from their opening three games and a win would send either team top of the table.

    Man City – 17/20
    Draw – 3/1
    Liverpool – 16/5

Early kick off at 12.30 so as to stop the Scousers getting too pissed and fighting with themselves..

That was a quadruple Johny Walker, the first of many you lightweight shyster.

Still nursing that bottle of 12 year old,12 year old Glenfidich..

Stoke are looking good at the moment, you'll struggle to get a draw there tomorrow.

The second club in Mcr will struggle again this season as Guardiola tries to integrate all the Brit players the board have forced on him.

The owners have decided on a few token Brits for the locals to cheer on.

21/4 for that seems a decent bet.

Football 365: Manchester City v Liverpool
If ever a game should banish those pesky international break blues it is this; it screams goalfest. There’s not been a 0-0 draw between the two sides since 2010 and if you’d have backed both teams to score in the last five matches at the Etihad you’d have won each time. Liverpool’s fine recent record against the Citizens cannot be ignored and the general rule is Jurgen Klopp’s team always do well against the top clubs. Then they struggle against the s**te. Liverpool to win and both teams to score is available at bigger than 5/1.

Betting: Liverpool to win and both teams to score at 21/4 (Stan James)

"There have been some moments that I call 'goal moments' that probably won't be in the highlights"

    - G. Neville in the commentary tonight.

Sometime it'll dawn on people what an arrogant empty twat he is.

    Sees highlights that aren't highlights.

    What an utter dick.

Stoke are playing well, but as with every team that United face lately, they're trying to shut the door, and catch United on the break. Baily and Jones are doing well to contain this, but a lack of penetration, particularly on the left, isn't helping United. Martial to come on (and on the left) in place of Mkhitaryan within the first 20 minutes of the second half (not that Henrikh's having a bad game). Darmian as the left wing back hasn't been that effective either (compared to Daley Blind), but most of the United play is being worked through Valencia/Rashford on the right. Need to pull the Stoke defence apart more, especially with Rashford and Martial swopping wings according to play.

Manchester City equalled their Club record of 11 consecutive wins as they beat Burnley 3-0 to move five points clear at the top of the Premier League table

    Pos Team P GD Pts
    1 Manchester City 9 +28 25
    2 Manchester United 9 +18 20
    3 Tottenham Hotspur 8 +10 17
    4 Chelsea 9 +7 16

And on an historic day at the Etihad Stadium,
Sergio Aguero’s opener means he is now joint-top of City’s all-time leading golascorer list.
City are now unbeaten in their 13 matches in all competitions this season, having scored a remarkable 42 goals.
    What happened?

Bernardo had the first real chance of the game, forcing a save from Nick Pope after fine link-up play between David Silva and Leroy Sane had sliced the Burnley backline apart.
The Portuguese playmaker then won a penalty when Pope brought him down inside the box. David Silva’s sublime throughball for Kevin De Bruyne put the Belgian in on goal, but his effort was parried by Pope. Bernardo, attempting to control the follow up, was then caught by the sprawling Pope, and Roger East pointed to the spot.
Aguero stepped up and made no mistake, equalling Eric Brook’s tally of 177 goals for City, a Club record which has stood since 1938.
City were nearly the architects of their own downfall when Kevin De Bruyne’s loose pass was intercepted by Jack Cork. He found Ashley Barnes, who laid it off for Scott Arfield to shoot, but his effort was blocked for a corner.
Aguero forced Pope to save with his feet at the near post after powerful effort from a tight angle, and moments later the Argentine looked certain to move ahead of Brook and score his 178th City goal when he fired left-footed towards the bottom corner - but Pope made a superb stop low to his left and Bernardo could not score from the follow up.
Nicolas Otamendi headed home Leroy Sane’s corner to double City’s lead with 20 minutes remaining, before De Bruyne’s defence-splitting pass sent Sane racing clear and he finished expertly to make it three.
Sane flashed one wide late on after substitute Ilkay Gundogan played him in on goal as City looked to add some gloss to their performance.
City were far from their attacking best but another fine three points means they move five clear of Manchester United, who lost to Huddersfield.
CityMatchday app Man of the Match

Sergio Aguero. Made his comeback 23 days after suffering a broken rib in a road traffic accident and equalled a long-standing Club record. He was a livewire throughout and will feel disappointed not to have gone ahead of Brook and become the Club’s outright all-time leading scorer.
    Up next

City play host to Wolves on Tuesday evening in the Carabao Cup last 16. A win in that game would see City set a new Club record of 12 consecutive wins and i've got tickets for this bad boy.
