I know most posters are focused on the Euros and there's less interest for the American Cup, but I hope (at least) a couple of posters chime in on this thread b/c of your higher level of knowledge (of players playing in the cup)

I am very glad that the US team (USMNT) will advance to the quarter finals, by finishing first in Group A (by goal differencial) over Columbia.

The USMNT will play in my hometown! June 16th, this Thursday.

Century Link field "the clink" will host our US Team as they play the runner up of Group B, which wee'll know at the end of Sunday night (USA time).

The US will play either Brazil, Peru, or Ecuador.


Anyone, please add any thoughts.....

Well, Argentina gave a thrashing of the US team, as they are considered to much better. US was missing three players for the game. 0-4 is a whoopin' but good on the USMNT for this America Cup.
