Man U game delayed 45 minutes

    Apparently theres a security alert.

Sounds a bit dodgy when you consider today is the last game of the season and all games should be starting at the same time to bwtting scandals.

    Oh well...... Come on Swansea

Manchester United v Bournemouth was called off after a suspect package was found at Old Trafford.

The game did not start on police advice after the stadium was evacuated when an "operation red code" alert was heard over the tannoy.

No date yet for the match to be played.

The club announced: "Due to the discovery of a suspect package in the north-west quadrant of the ground, the match has been abandoned for today on police advice.

There has been a controlled explosion.

It was then thought that it was a food package from one of the traditional Man U supporters. Pie and mash, whelks, uellied eals, cockles and mussels flying everywhere

    I detest Southampton FC

Only been to see a soccer game once, and that was Saints v Sheffield Wednesday at the Dell when I was a nipper. We (Saints) lost 0-3. I decided that I didn't like soccer from that day forth but kept on with Saint's until they were relegated. It was then an easy move to declare "Fuck soccer, I will not watch it or pay any interest in it ever again until Saint's get back in the Prem again" which they looked dead cert never to do. Bastards. Now i have to pretend to be interested in them again which is bloody hard .

The reality is more ridiculous than any of the jokes. Apparently this device was left behind by a security company that had been doing a training exercise.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

^Classy of ManUre to do this, eh?

Within minutes of Manchester United lifting the FA Cup trophy, their first since 2004, and first touch of any silverware since 2013, any positive feeling a neutral will have held for the club evaporated. The BBC, the Daily Telegraph and numerous other outlets, in unison, reported the news that Louis van Gaal would be sacked, with Jose Mourinho appointed as his successor.
    16 conclusions: Palace 1-2 Man United - Football365

Ah yes, having speculated every day for two years that LvG was headed for the sack the press is ready with their crocodile tears once it happens.

Failure to qualify for the Champions League really meant the end for LvG. Had United not been involved in the FA Cup final, he would have been invited to ply his trade elsewhere after the final Premier League game.

I'm sure he'll be more than adequately compensated for his early departure, and it won't be long before he's with another high profile team or as a national team coach.

That wasn't leaked by United. Someone in the Mendes camp; more than likely to force Woodward's hand and ensure LvG was out of the door sharpish.
