Whenever I watch The WC Holders vs The Diddy Men at the UN Irish, we always win.

    Is that beyond your comprehension?

    Twice - 100% record!

At least I have the pleasure of knowing that Wales are even more shite than England at the moment.

"Judge us on the world cup"

    Gareth jenkins quote.

I really don't think we have enough time to find 15 Welsh qualified Pacific islanders.

They'l make the last 8 just because everyone apart from Australia is crap in our gruop.
we will lose heavily to Aus and lose heavily in the last 8 probably to South Africa and the coach will declare it a rousing success and tell the public just how many lessons they have learnt.

    not optimistic then?

they could give the aussies a close game if they turn on the welsh passion and flair....can't see how they could beat 'em though.

any chance of a revival in welsh fortunes in the near future cmn?

    You won't.

And you won't get past the last 8 like England, Scotland and Wales.

500 baht says we'll take the frogs.

    paddypower is pragmatic:

    France 1 - 4 Draw 22 - 1 Ireland 5 - 2

Paddy Power - Horse Racing, Premier League, Rugby World Cup, Cricket, Golf, Big Brother and more.

I don't think you will beat Argentina.
I am increasingly more convinced of that.

I wouldn't be that confident of France beating Argentina either, Argentina have one of if not the best front 5's around and on their day can give anyone a game with their first choice 15 on the field, my tip for the suprise package of the tournamnent (or to get futher than many people expect them too), semi-finals a stong possibility.

Talking to the owner of the UN Irish Pub last night and he mentioned this interview and the fact that he rates Evans as a pundit.

Wallabies 'should be wary of Fiji'

From Jim Morton in Montpellier, France
    September 01, 2007
BATTLING Fiji, not Wales, looms as Australia's main danger in the Rugby World Cup pool stages, according to grounded Wallabies scrum guru Alec Evans.
Evans has warned the Wallabies against taking Fiji lightly when they line up for what is generally seen as a September 23 mismatch in Montpellier.
But the veteran skills coach firmly believes former Wallabies flanker Ilie Tabua's men have the unpredictable, unstructured game to upset Australia.
It will be the Wallabies' third of four pool B matches and comes eight days after the crunch clash with No.8-ranked Wales in Cardiff.

Could it be Fiji and not Wales coming out of the group?

    not very likely at all.

Alec Evans was considered to be off his rocker when he coached Cardiff.
made a right mess of that team he did.
