Did you enjoy that, 'Arry? Rosberg was 40+ points up not that long ago... 6 wins out of 7 races for Hamilton; his girlfriend will be happy.

It's a happy atmosphere in the podium lounge without the sour faced kraut there sulking.

The crowd are probably not very happy - most of 'em would probably like to join Britain in Brexit...

I think he's knobbing one of these, but he could actually be doing both of them.

Imagine being the meat in that sandwich.

Fernando Alonso will join Lewis Hamilton in starting the 2016 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix from the back of the grid, after McLaren opted to change his newly-upgraded Honda engine following problems in opening practice at Spa-Francorchamps.

That change will see Alonso take a sixth ICE, MGU-H, MGU-K, turbo, control electronics and energy store of the season, meaning he is set to receive a 35-place grid penalty. All the new parts are understood to be of the same specification that the Spaniard used in FP1.

Mercedes, meanwhile, have confirmed that Hamilton is due to drop 30 grid places thanks to further replacement elements on his power unit - his seventh turbocharger and MGU-H of the season - after opening practice. With the world champion already demoted to a back-row start, the team may well opt to make additional engine changes ahead of qualifying.

And at Sauber, Marcus Ericsson will lose 10 grid places thanks to the Swiss team putting a new turbocharger - his sixth of the season - on his Ferrari power unit.
And yet Rosberg is a second off the pace after FP2.

So Lewis went out, set the minimum time required to qualify to race, then parked up and fucked off down the pub. Good lad.

    Rosberg P1.

Well I reckon Lewis has a good chance of overtaking the Ferrari's for a start.

    Awesome.

Hammy up to 5th and then they red flag it, wiping out Nico's lead.

    Just gets better.

That fuck Rosberg is such an ungracious little poof.

Ricciardo and Hamilton having a post race chat, he just sits there with a face like a smacked arse.

He knows he wouldn't have won the race if it wasn't for engine penalties.

Presumably, at some point Rosberg will need to get new engines and other parts, and drop back on the grid. It is one area where Hamilton seems to be stronger than most; making his way through the field from a low position.

Vettel fuk'd up Ferrari's race at the first corner.
    Cycling should be banned!!!

Hammy on pole with Rosberg alongside him, Ferraris choking on their dust on the second row.

Looks like Hammy was caught checking Facebook at the start, started about a second after the rest and ended up in 5th place.

Even the Williams soared past him.

Hammy never recovered from that crap start, but clawed his way back from 6th to 2nd.

    Whinger Rosberg 1st
    Hammy 2nd
    Vettel 3rd
    The sweary Finn 4th

Hamilton leads the driver's championship by 2 points.

On to Singapore in 18th September.

Hammy admitted he cocked up the start. If that was Rosberg he'd be blaming every fucker.

Hamilton clearly out driven by Rosberg in the last two races. You can make any excuse you want harry but Hamilton is being outclassed.

How many of his 55 grid penalties has Hamilton served?

The spotty faced Dutch wunderkind was again beaten by his teammate.
