The AB's are getting alot of bad press back home, suggesting that they are not a team that could take the world cup home.
Is this propaganda to put the other teams off guard?.
or is there really a problem.?

The Abs are renowned chokers when it comes to the WC, so we'll just have to wait and see.
The All Blacks always seem to bottle it at the world cup, my own personal opinion is that if Dan Carter is fit, then the All Blacks will win the cup. The only team i can see with any chance (and only a very slim one) of giving them a game is Ireland.

But bladdy great stuff to watch!
Saffers C Team...who troubled them for 65 minutes.....
This is a good thing for NZ....they peak too early in RWC years then choke...maybe this time will be different.....
as for Ireland....snigger.....not a hope in hell.
troubled them? they never really looked like they were going to score....
more a case of made them work hard in the set pieces, and provided a solide defence which eventually caved in the onslaught that was the All blacks constant attack, i would have thought.
(and i aint even Kiwi)
Well I wouldn't underestimate Ireland at all.
The AB's dropped the ball 14 times FFS.If half them had stuck it would have been a bath.
The SA forwards never dropped their bundle in the second half like they normally do.Prolly because they are young and keen etc.The SA first stringers could learn a thing or two from these guys.
"The Aussies will have loved this, never mind the final score. If they thought the All Blacks were vulnerable on the back of bowling them over at the MCG, they'll surely be cock-a-hoop after watching Graham Henry's men spend the best part of an hour wandering somewhat aimlessly round Jade Stadium"
not exactly rave reviews.....but I feel we have the talent and will to win.
maybe if SA HAD sent their best players, we might have shown them the respect they deserved.
I didn't see the match but from past games, the ab's use these matches as training sessions.
Mr T
Didn't see the game, I went by what some Kiwi's told me.
I value and trust their opinion more than yours.
And I wouldn't overestimate Ireland myself, this is Irelands finest ever team by all accounts and they can't even win the shit house 6N.
Says a lot to me.
The fact that the all blacks are struggling now is a good thing.

really?their scrums got beaten every time
By a very much 3rd choice saffer pack..... ????
Even more interesting.
We screw the no one scrum too.Did you not see the last game?
they lost it by one try and it's shit because of the poor teams like the engerlish, scots and italians who drag down the standard.Originally Posted by Bobcock
the irish should have coasted it but for the lapse in concentration in the last minute against the frogs. i hope the lads can stick it up the all blacks..........would make many the irishman's decade
What if?
Also if i remember correctly when they lost that game both o'driscol and stringer were out injured, i actualy think they missed stringer more, if he was playing they would have kept the ball at the end and not given away a stupid try.
To you southern hemisphere boys knocking Ireland just wait and see, while i am not saying they have anymore than a slim chance of beating the all blacks, they are IMO the best of the rest. O'Driscoll and Darcy are one of if not the best centre partnerships in the world, Stringer and O'Gara are a vastly experienced half back partnership who don't make many errors and coupled with a pretty decent pack that makes a good side.
Typical statement from the Irish. "The other teams were crap, that's why we can't win the Six Nations".Originally Posted by blackpanther

^ typical, weren't you an oisrish man during cricket world cup??
I support all the home nations during sporting championships (as long as they aren't playing against England). Always have done.Originally Posted by mrT
As I said, still not got the mental where withall to do a Grand Slam.....when was their last one?...1948...the one before?...anyone answer that one?
Also...they last time they defeated New Zealand.....?
I'll take any bets on Ireland NOT winning the RWC. I've already got two suckers prepared to put their money in my pocket...ermmmm...where their mouth is.
France are by far a more capable side of beating NZ as are Australia and SA.
we'll see, not long to wait now.
nice of you to bite marmiteOriginally Posted by Marmite the Dog

it's about time the national side did the same. the arrogance of the kiwis will be their undoing once again.
