Ben Stokes & Eoin morgan are shit blokes

New Zealand born English cricket player Ben Stokes shamelessly stopped the ball hitting the stumps WITH HIS HAND in one of the most disgraceful displays of sportsmanship ever seen - and to add the the foul tactics, the Irish England caption Eoin ( stupid name ) Morgan in a post match interview said "yep" when asked if he would have withdrawn the appeal had he been in Steve Smith's shoes !!

Just how low can these scummy poms ( well, ring-in poms ) go ???

    Should they be banned ???

look at him - you can see it in his eyes - guilty as sin

and their supporters - fcuking sore losers boo hoo hoo all the way home

The home crowd booed roundly through the rest of the match. They booed through the post-match presentations. They're probably still booing on the train on the way home.

They'll wake up in the early hours of the morning and boo the fridge while they get a glass of milk. They'll certainly be booing at Old Trafford and Headingley.
I wonder if ben cousins will be needed to advise them on how to handle all this

Oh Wally are you still upset about getting fucked over in The Ashes?

This is a bit pathetic even for you.

You really are a bad loser.

In real time, it is clear - it's an example of how slow motion can make things look very different.

Terrible thread by, Wally - unless it was in jest. The Convicts, as per usual, are poor losers and poor winners.

Nonetheless, as pointed out, the tour was about one thing and one thing only:

How do I post these pictures???

Yes, but in slow mo he is clearly looking at the ball and puts his hand up to stop it . Instinct perhaps, but either way it's against the rules and it was the correct decision.

Brendon McCullum: Steve Smith will regret Ben Stokes dismissal

    8:53 AM Tuesday Sep 8, 2015

Black Caps captain Brendon McCullum has raised eyebrows after suggesting new Australian skipper Steve Smith will look back and regret Saturday's dismissal of Ben Stokes in the second one day international at Lords.

Writing in his column for the Daily Mail, McCullum said that by not withdrawing the appeal, Smith had revealed his immaturity and may live to regret it.

In his view, Stokes was merely trying to protect himself by sticking his glove out and the Australians decision to appeal for obstructing the field in those circumstances wasn't right.

McCullum added the situation had presented Smith with a chance to make a statement about how his side could play, but that he will one day look back at Stokes dismissal "and realise he missed a great opportunity to strike a blow for the spirit of cricket."

While insisting he was not trying to frame the Black Caps as being holier-than-thou, he wrote that none of the current members of the New Zealand side would have appealed in the first place.

Winning is important, McCullum said, "but the longer you play this game the more you realise that some things are too valuable to spoil."

The Kiwi skipper insisted he was speaking from experience, comparing the incident to a test match where he ran out Muttiah Muralitharan while he was celebrating his partner Kumar Sangakkara's century. Looking back McCullum said he would act differently now.

He added his belief that former Australian captain Michael Clarke and England skipper Eoin Morgan would have both withdrawn the appeal.

McCullum finished by cautioning England against getting too emotional about the matter, saying he regretted the Black Caps' gleeful celebrations upon winning a game at The Oval off the last ball, after they were left fuming over Grant Elliott's controversial run-out.

McCullum has exposed himself as a tosspot here

Now THAT was just plain bad sportsmanship and a totally different situation

the kiwis should concentrate on winning games instead of just trying to win pommy hearts and minds ..

Ben Stokes out handling the ball video: Eoin Morgan, not Steve Smith, could be argued to have contravened spirit of cricket, says Jason Gillespie

Methinks you've missed the point, Wally.

He's saying that's an example of something he regrets doing and wouldn't do again under the same circumstances.

England allrounder Ben Stokes has insisted there was no wilful intent when he gloved away Mitchell Starc's throw at the stumps at Lord's and that he was purely thinking of protecting himself.
Stokes' reaction, as he spun away from the throw, came when he was out of his ground and led to him becoming the first England batsman - and sixth overall - to be given out obstructing the field in a one-day international.
Law 37, which governs obstructing the field, states: Either batsman is out obstructing the field if he wilfully attempts to obstruct or distract the fielding side by word or action.
"A guy was standing there five feet away from me and it was just a complete reaction," Stokes told ESPNcricinfo. "I didn't put my hand there wilfully, it was purely out of human reaction to protect myself. But the decision was made, there's nothing I can do but it wasn't wilful whatsoever."
This ginger kiwi pom is just making it worse for himself. If he was protecting his body his hand would have been protecting his head or something - was he worried the stumps would get hurt or something??

    So a cheat and a liar! ..... and a ginger .... and a kiwi/pom
