What is considered an average/normal amount of punts per game?

^ Well that is hard to say. I would say a common score would be 28-14 or something like that. Anything over 28 points is a high scoring game. Scores with A final score of say 14-7 would be considered a defensive battle.

Cheers mate, but punts as in kicks...

Not punts as in typo of "points" (or actually even "points" said in a Kiwi accent and pronounced 'punts' )

    Goodo, ta.

Not really a whole lot of opportunities is it. Especially when you consider what's at stake.

They have been showing them for years, I watched the NFL week in week out when I lived in Australia in the late 80's.

I chat to a guy all the time who watches religiously....

It's got nothing to do with Hayne....

The only thing that he has added is the fact that someone there was looking at buying the rights to the Niners games only.....

Hayne just misjudged a punt and fumbled the ball. A major and inexcusable blunder. Viking recover and are in winers territory.

^ We will have to see if he gets another chance in this game. Winers will be punting often I am guessing.

    Oops indeed!

Coincidentally I just read an article where some coach or other said that Hayne would experience emotions in his debut x2 greater than anything he had ever faced in rugby at any level.

Nobody does sports hyperbole like the Yanks but maybe he was right.

Niners running game looking good so far, Hyde taking big chunks or yardage during the first half...

It's clear from most of your sporting observations that neither you or your mates are sports fans.....
