Whoops big mistake.
Richard Cresswell now plays for Leeds, no longer for Preston.
With this new information I think Preston have an even better chance
Apppologies for my mistake folks

tomorrow's games:
25/02/06
Coventry v. Burnley
Leeds v. Luton
Reading v. Preston
Watford v. Cardiff
good luck all...
I think Coventry have the easiest game tomorrow.
Interesting games though.
READING 2 Preston 1
SHEFF U 2-QPR 3
Watford and Leeds win again, now only 7 points behind United. The battle for second automatic promotion spot is not over by a long way. United's form is dire of late
Reading 12 points clear of United and 20 clear of Watford. Sorry Cardiff, think your chance of a play-off spot has gone with your defeat today.. we did our bit for you... but you never helped yourself ...maybee next year
I have done the maths and Reading only need to win 4 of their last 12 games to be assured of promotion and thats providing Leeds and Watford WIN all their games.
Boy am I going to bed a happy chappy
Man U , Liverpool, United...... here WE COME

If one of the others starts to drop points you may well sneak in.
We are coming but not till next month and we should already have promotion graranteed so we may give our reserves a run... so you never know???
I suspect you will be doing the Ayatollah!!!

Right! How do I delete this bladdy thread...?
Why do you want to do that?
It's still my team that's the propping up the rear of the TD football fans..!
Today:
Coventry v. Sheffield Utd.
Just one game on today?
no I think we've all got games - a bit pushed for time earlier so only looked up the Cov. fixture.
I'll shove the results in tomorrow for all teams especially if Coventry leapfrog Luton.
Then I can abuse you some fatboy....
Wolves v Cardiff.
Pretty crucial that one.
also today:
Luton v. Leicester
Reading v. Watford
Just going on line now to listen to the game, this will be a toughie, first v fourth. just watched the Chelsea spurs game, I thought we would get the same result, even if it was 1-1, so I am going for a 2-1 win for the RoyalsOriginally Posted by colourful-era

Well done Coventry.. great win against Sheff united. None of the top 4 teams won but our lead is extended to 15 points over United and 20 over Leeds.
the race is definatley on for second place now with leads 5 points behind Sheffield with a game in hand.
Leeds have to go to Sheffield next month.. that could be the defininitive game for both sides although a draw could let Watford in.
Its going to be a great run -in. Unfortunatley owing to Leeds late equaliser against Norwich Reading will have to wait 2 more weeks before the fat lady sings
Sorry to say but I think the Ayatollahs wont get a top six finish
Coventry City 2 - 0 Sheffield Utd.
Luton 1 - 2 Leicester
Reading 0 - 0 Watford
Wolves 2 - 0 Cardiff
just me on a winner yesterday then!....hehehe
