I thought that might get the Aussies excited...

My prediction is that Australia will beat Wales in the rugby WC pool match.

I suspect, despite the excitement, it won't be much different.

The last series was pretty close in the first 2 matches, could've gone either way if it wasn't for that wanker Haddin, then psychologically you got well on top and slaughtered us.

Thus, the first 2 tests we need to step up and put in some performances - maybe Bell will find his bat again? It could then be close, but you have a far better bowling lineup and good batsmen too. We will see, maybe we can do something to the pitches to help us out?
    Cycling should be banned!!!

Goats, the real good ones; the mountain goats, don't need grass.

It would be a shame to miss this summer of misery for the Convicts - out of the rugby WC at the group stage, a miserable failure in the ashes, not to mention coming last (again) in the second rate southern hemisphere rugby union contest. Hell, the Aussies might even lose the next State of Origin series at this rate...

And that twot Leighton Hewitt is their best tennis player this century?

    Dear oh dear.

    How about golf?

    Nope.

Still, they've got that Thunderbird puppet on the online poker.

    So there's that.

I take it you don't follow the PGA tour and never have Cyrille?. Nothing wrong with that of course, but if you did follow it you wouldn't have thrown a statement like that out there.

But back to the Ashes where Aus are paying 1.40 to win the series and Eng 5.30. This is GREAT news for the Poms who could use a spare shekel or three, just divide how much you want by 5.30 and place your bets

On this top 50 official ranking the Convicts seem to be doing pretty well:

Official World Golf Ranking - Home

They have 3, compared to the 9 Brits.

Nonetheless, I fully support the Convicts in their sporting aspirations and hope they manage to win the SofO this year.

With regards to cricket, I thought the CKBs, who seem to play very fair and well on the cricket field, have put in some great showings this year and have been a joy to watch. Obviously they came second best at the home of cricket, but that is to be expected from some inbred islanders - no offence...

The Convicts, horrible bunch on and off the field, classless, are deserved favourites for this series; good players. But, the odds seem to be a tad too generous in their favour, imho. If I were a betting man (in which case I'd be homeless and potless!) then I'd call it 50/50, or very slightly in the Convicts favour. I'm a tad worried about our old opening bowling pair, and I'd like to propose that we make an agreement: we'll have Stark, and you can have Barbie.

I'd just like to add, on a horse racing theme, that Frankel would have taken Black Cavier to the cleaners, beaten her by 10 lengths. Just sayin...

So after dropping nine catches, and batting with ten batsmen, Essex could well beat the Australians.

The Aussie batsmen have really misfired at Chelmsford.

Can the donkey pick up a bat? If so, seems to be more need in the Convict team...

They do perform better for sure...but please remind me which Australian has won the US Open though Bob...and which Kiwi finished third in the US Seniors Open last week...ahead of Cyrilles favourite golfer
