    Loads of people were, and it was on GMM which means it was on in loads of pubs too.

    Thanks guys. I was in the wilderness with a laptop. Got back in time for the second half. With Engerland it's the only half you need to watch.

    I stayed up for this last night. The only reason anyone in that England defence should have been allowed near the stadium was to sell hot dogs and pies. Woeful.

    On the plus side, we've now almost certainly got a reason to stay up late and have a proper drink next June for a couple of weeks before we get dumped in the 1/4s by Austria.

    I was on the golf course. Couldn't really see the point in watching it, as usual England flatter to deceive and will go tits up as soon as they're faced with the big boys.

    It seems Roy is in defiance of accepted football theory. He's decided to build from the front.

    Agree re Wilshire and Lallana, both developing some class. Get Sturridge back and job's half jobbed.
