    Storm beat the Rooster by a point.

    Back on top of the ladder.

    The world feels balanced once more.

    ^Starting to balance out now, finally. Any tipsters who are 50% or better for the season so far deserve a medal, it's been a crap shoot trying to pick form sides and winners...

    ^It is starting to take shape at the top but now along comes the internationals and origin matches to rob a few teams of players.

    This always affects the ladder but once origin is over it is always a great race home.

    ^True. Very happy to see the Broncos on equal first, they are on a hiding to nothing over any Rep or SOO periods. Disappointing to see them go down to the Saints on the weekend but the blow was softened by watching the Warriors be in front at the half then lose. Again

    Good to see the Warriors do their usual caper, notice the Kiwi idiot hasn't posted for a week or so.

    ^Not if they're in front at half time!

    The images below tell the story;

    Typical Warriors defense for the first 40 mins.

    Typical Warriors defense for the second 40 mins.

    In the first shot you can see Hoffman in a Storm jumper.

    He wears the other one now.

    The Broncos will definitely get hit hard this year, but we might escape a little bit. Smith and Cronk for sure but no Hoffman,possibly no Slater and Chambers will be a toss up.

    I'm a happy Tigers fan today after a good win against the dogs.

    Incredible first try.

    I must apologise to Bwuce , I have been very derogative in my comments about the Warriors , They have one very great attribute -Consistency- When in front at the break they consistently lose 55555.

    ^^ Naiqama played a magic game , apart from the above try , his own try was great as well , not many could have scored it. Good to see the Dogs beat again.

    Warriors blow a lead again. I think the coach must be under pressure now. It is not that he is a bad coach, but he is not the quality at resent to mount a challenge for the finals. He only got the job because he was assistant to a claytons coach (non Aussies won't understand Claytons so Google it)...and in that situation seemed a good option. The current Warriors team is full of talent but they are obviously lacking a coherent game plan...unlike when Cleary was coaching with half the talent.

    ^I don't know if a new coach is the answer, what they possibly need more is a better sports psychologist on their payroll. If they're good enough to be in front at the half against anyone (which they are) and to have only let the opposition score a few points, they need to believe they can win the 2nd half and defend a lead as well. As it is, they must be shaking in their boots and have heads full of negative thoughts every time they walk to the sheds with a lead at the break.

    A shrink who can work with Polynesians? Impossible. The key thing is they are not losing to points blowouts like they used to...that will keep the punters hoping...and maybe the coach's job...but I think Phil Gould was right about that months ago...the Warriors job is not for a newbie

    Australia 6 Kiwis 26...at half time...in the pre match Phil Gould predicted 5 tries to 2 for the Australians...the Kiwis have already scored four...so that means the Aussies will be scoring plenty in the second half...except that Phil is now calling it a "changing of the guard"

    Australia 10 Kiwis 26...Kiwis have now beaten the Aussies 3 times in a row...if they beat England in October they will be the official No 1 team in the world...and State of Origin will officially be a State contest in the second best nation in the world

    For the first time since about 1903, BC .

    The Kiwis played really well, Australia wern't shit they were just outplayed and like when England had that brief period where they beat Oz at Cricket, there's now a need for the team to have an overhaul and get things back to normal.

    In the meantime, the 3 things every Kiwi will always tell you has now grown to 4;
    (1) Great Grandmother was a Maori Pricncess.
    (2) Tried out for the All Blacks.
    (3) I was only helping it over then fence.
    (4) State of Origin isn't the punnacle of Rugby League.
