My team, the Eagles, has been eliminated from the playoffs already. The curse of Madden lives on.

    Are the Seahawks for real?

I won't say I'm a fan. But it might be good for the city.

The playoffs is where it counts.

    Any Patriots Fans Here?

I've been a Patriots fan since the team was created in 1960. I waited a LONG time for my team to become as dominant as it now is.

Are any of you fans of other contenders getting a little nervous, as you watch my team return to health, and dominate once again?

Gonna be one hell of a superbowl. Both great teams, and both teams with great coaches.

I liked the Oilers when I was a kid for a couple of years.

Dan Pastorini, and one of my all-time favorites, Earl Campbell.

    Ol' Bum Phillips....

Who will be the new NFL commissioner? Next year will be Cinci's year. Also, I see a team in Mexico City and another in L.A. within 2 years.

Yup macha, you can pick the ball up and run with it, you can throw it or best of all you can kick it 2 different ways.

This year the NFL is allowing 8 inch spikes on the top of the helmet.

Why Americans call it a football then?

Good question Macha, but the idea of 'hand & football' was very trying for the announcers to say. I wonder why the Brits didn't just call their game 'head and foot ball?'

Now heres a hypothetical challenge. Take any NFL team and any English Premier League team and let them play one another in their respective sports. What would happen?

Sure the English soccer players would beat our 300 pound boys soundly by scoring multiple goals with the end result of something like 30-0.

However, the NFL boys while playing Amerikan football with the stars of English football would probably see the game being called early. Why?

Most of the English Premier League would be in the emergency room, sugery or ICU....

I surprised the pooftas can feel anything with all that padding, kevlar and helmets.

Real men play rugby or even Aussie rules. Complete nutters play Gaelic football.

^ The sports are different. They cannot be compared.

Also, many high school, college, and professional American football players have been paralyzed from the neck and waist down, because of injuries.

Like Aussies rules and rugby, many players in American football are physical wrecks by the time they hit their 30s.

Many have many permanent disabilities, (e.g. concussions, knee problems, and neck and back problesms).
