Post Who will win the Rugby World Cup 2015?

    Who is going to win?

    It could be anybodies really.....

The AB/Wallabies game showed on what can happen when a team lifts.

Once you get to the semis, anything could happen and any team on their day could win.

Personally, I think that England will be hard to beat at home.

    Wales will do it.

Kiwis will lose in the QF's and be back home.
Aus won't get out of the group.
Wales will top the group and England 2nd.
England will use all of their energy to then knock the SaFFAS out, and end up in the Wales England final knackered and broken to be shredded by gatball.

Wales have become too predictable and to be honest I can't even see them getting out of their group, will probably have the embarrassment of going home before Scotland.

    Ireland Injuries avoided, then maybe.
    Wales Top group then maybe.
    Scotland No chance.
Australia Maybe if they top group.
South Africa Likely if we are all honest.
    Argentina No chance.
France very long shot but worth a punt? No. Save your cash.
New Zealand No chance. Back to choking for these boys.
    Samoa No chance
    Tonga No chance.

Already said Wales will win it. As we can categorically discount the chokers then it really is up in the air. No doubt they will win every match before the world cup, but runny arse time for them in 11 months and they will be out in the quarters.

All a bit over rated by everyone involved.
Assuming you top you pool all it means is that you beat three other sides ranked anywhere 1 to 8 in the rankings.

Agreed, but they aren't even seeded to get out of their group with SA and Samoa being the 2 top 8 teams when the draw was done and with Japan and USA making up the other 2 teams in the group I'm confident Scotland will progress to the quarter finals in the runners up spot behind SA. Vern Cotter now as coach of Scotland coupled with Glasgow warriors impressive start to the season which included the drubbing on Bath the other day gives me renewed hope although the small pool of players to choose from is still always going to be a major handicap.

Anyway moving on if Scotland progress to the quarters by coming second they will then play the winners of group A either Wales, England or Australia and if they have had good 6 nations and can keep progressing then at the minimum should be able to give any of those 3 sides a good game and before you know it Scotland are in the semi finals where they will probably meet France who will fail to turn up leading to a Scotland - NZ final in which NZ will choke leaving Scotland as RU WC2015 winners.

I think i read my tea leaves right.

As there are only 4-5 likely winners, there must be a way to utilise online betting promotions with 6-7 different bookies to place outright winning bets for all of them completely mitigating any potential losses whilst opening youself out to a couple of bets on the outside 250:1 chance big wins as well?

I'm going to piss about with a spreadsheet over the next couple of days to see if I can pop the odds in and it will tell me how much I have to place on each potential winner to achieve this.

I'd like to see a Gridiron game played with only 8 subs on the bench, no special teams and no time outs.

Wonder if it's ever been done?

it should be a southern hemisphere team as long as the northern refs blow the game fairly.

Apart from ice hockey which I'm not sure even is an American sport, American sports like grid iron and baseball bore the pants off me and that is generally down to all the stop/starts and how fukin long everything takes, there is no flow to the games and their fuking obsession with meaningless stats but i suppose the commentators need something to talk about seeing as there is more time spent not playing than there is actually playing the sport.
