LC, LINK PLEASE,, Lance swears he never doped,, I know nothing about bicycles sept when I was with my mom and stepdad for a couple of years when I was a kid.
I got a paper route, dirt roads and streets outside of Sacramento Calif. and delivered papers in the mud on a bicycle that I had stolen somewhere, wore the foker completely out in that mud in a month.
Other than that , life on a large cattle ranch leaves no time for competive sports when you have no electricity in the 1940s and work from sun up til down 7/52.
Sampras retired just 4 years ago.
I think the doping charges against Lance were discredited.
How about Andre Agassi? He just retired last year.
what about music? The world practically worships New Orleans Jazz!
Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Carl Perkins, Muddy Waters, BB King, Elvis Presley, Barry White, Johnny Cash! For starters.
4 years is like a lifetime.Andre is a baby..cried like a stuck piggy.Lances b sample was all over the show like a mad womens poo.
sport is not music
LC, you are a little harsh there mate, Merikans excel in many fields, like eeeer, umm, let me think a bit, eeeer. I will get back to you on that one
Evidently it's fruitless to discuss gentleman's sporting events with pommie football fans.
I think England are still the World Champions at rugby.
Though not for much longer.
Quite right Mr Earl ! football is a pussies game, but Rugby isn't.
Anyway I thought of one thing merikans do do well at, Drag racing ! now how they can make a motor and big wheels accelerate that bloody fast over a 1/4 mile beats me.
Dixon takes points lead with win
By Jeff OlsonMonday, August 27th 2007, 00:38 GMT
The narrow lead that had been Dario Franchitti's now belongs to Scott Dixon.
Dixon passed Franchitti's crippled car on a restart with eight laps remaining Sunday and went on to win the Motorola Indy 300 at Infineon Raceway and take the lead in a tight battle for the IndyCar Series championship with two races remaining.
Dixon's victory put him four points in front of Franchitti heading into next week's race at Detroit Belle Isle, with Tony Kanaan in third place, 62 points off the lead.
Dixon was able to wrest the lead away after Franchitti tangled with teammate Marco Andretti on the 68th lap of the 80-lap race.
