The lad probably lost his job over that bit of gamesmanship. Costly mistake as he'll have to pay to get into the ground now.

The amount of diving/cheating/play-acting in that game was fucking incredible.

Totally unprofessional...just like that little shite Morgan at Swansea who snivelled when Eden Hazard kicked him. The game needs to get rid of that shite...and diving

I'm not interested to watch the game anymore but do what replays of the 1960's and 70's games when the players didn't act like poofs and clowns.

Complete and utter waste of 2 hours watching the shit these days.

No Doubt your right on the amount of crap that goes on in the game today. I was wondering if Ronni had done something strange?

But when you pay someone $500 000 a week base salary, it no longer is a game. It is much more than that, it is big multi-national business. Rugby is or has gone the same way.

Now Darts! now that is a sport.

Rugby? Nowhere near that sort of money in rugger.

A top international plays about 33 matches a year and is on about $1 million p/a excluding endorsements.

The outrageous earnings the best player in the world receives is neither here nor there. He did well to control that situation.

Hopefully, the precocious ballboy has lost his job...and what a job to lose, the dummy. Probably get kudos from his A.Madrid mates though...

^ The paper that reported it said numerous local businessmen had contacted them offering him employment as they "liked his spirit"...

He'll probably make it in the financial world as he appears not to give a hoot about the 'customer'

    Definitely customer service, handling complaints.

Hi Necron, I know rugby players do not make "soccer money". But think about it still "playing a kids game" and getting a million pounds dollars euros!

They just buried Tom Finney was a plumber as well as an England International. Eeee lad them wert days. When Leeds United were at the top, most of the team arrived by bus along with the supporters. Amazing how things have changed

Harry, visited one of my kids recently, never got much over -30C. She felt bad for us so bought a couple of sports channels that featured Brit sports. Enjoyed the footy and the rugby. It had Darts. They play their games in front of crowds of several thousand. Non stop cheering and shouting, it is daft! Most people could not see the players let alone their shots. Suppose TV's but why bother, bet they serve crap beer as well.
