Indeed, but this is what folks do on such threads. It's not mystical and we don't expect to be right, we just chat about our predictions and what they are based on. Once the games are on it changes to chatting about the games and how they went. Not rocket science... Feel free to join in.

Of course, some insecure folks, use it to vent, but that gets boring very quickly. I'd like to see Scotland improve and be competitive at the international level again. I always feel sad leading into big matches and tournaments when Scotland are a non-event. I remember them being a fearsome team with some great players who could beat anybody; that's what international sport is about - competition.

^when Carling was captain, they beat us at Murryfield for the championship; it was always tough going up there; they had a lot of Lions at that time too - great pack, very strong loose forwards, strong backline wit Lions centre and fullback, they were a very good team.

at least get it right you ignoramus.

Bettyboo made a bit of a booboo stating England reached a world-cup rugby final in the last five years whereas they reached the 2011 quarter -finals and were beaten by France. Just thought i'd clear than one up before some-one posts any-more
    misinformation.

You are right, time does fly - was the last WC really in 2011??? I meant the one before where we were beaten in the final by SA (2007). Thank you for the correction. Now, have you anything to say about either this six nations or Scotland and this six nations?

No thankyou betty as it would just be pure conjecture on anyones part to predict the outcome of any game before it's been played but suffice to say I expect and hope that Scotland give a good account of themselves in every game they play
    whatever the result,

The surrender monkeys look strong to me, good pack, some great backs - I can see them winning this championship with ease.

Halfpenny has been outstanding. Top quality. I'm sure he's really English.
