Ruiz took the fight on short notice and he still destroyed AJ and ultimately lets be honest made him quit. Unless it is in the contract I doubt that there will be a rematch especially since both Ruiz and Wilder are represented by Al Haymon.

^ of course it was in the contract. In the post fight interview he was asked if he was gonna take the rematch. "100%" AJ replied, sheepishly. The fight will be around December I think they said.

Very skillful boxer with an awkward style that doesn't make him a fan favourite, same as Billy Joe Saunders. Could make other Middleweights look bad, so no one wants their 'stars' to fight them.
