Good Pacquaio fight. Manny's first TKO in nine years. Third knock-down ended it in round seven. Manny looked good.
^Other guy looked very ordinary, went down (3 times) way too easily.
Manny will be 40 in December...still fast!
For the upcoming Dillian Whyte - Joseph Parker heavyweight bout on 28 July the bookies have Whyte at 11/10 and Joseph Parker at 8/11. Whyte is a powerful man with a crushing right, but Parker looks like a better boxer. Both have one loss - the one loss coming from the same man, Anthony Joshua. The difference is that Parker went the distance with AJ. Whyte is 24-1, 18 KOs and Joseph Parker 23-1, 17 KOs.
pues, estamos aqui
AJ wasn't able to catch Parker with any big shot for 12 rounds. Did AJ run out of ideas or was Parker a bit slippery? Both, I'd say. Hughie Fury ran for 12 rounds so can't blame Parker for that snoozefest.
I'll tip him to catch Dillian Whyte at some point in the 7th or 8th. Parker is a decent puncher. Whyte has a decent left jab but he's not composed under pressure, he gets a bit wild and cumbersome. Parker is more focused.

Anyone seen a link to the Manny fight yet?
Nothing on Pirate Bay. Odd, as there usually is.
Never is when it says "This video is unavailable".
^Deffo. Rumours abound that he might be taking on Vasyl Lomachenko at a lighter, maybe catchweight of around 135-137lbs.
Went to see the fight in KL yesterday, and had a bit of a long weekend trip also, as I havn't been for years. Very enjoyable too.
There was a very good undercard of fights on the bill. Four WT bouts all at lighter weights, the standout being IBF Featherweight challenger, highly-touted Chinese prospect Lu Bin who took a beating against Champ Carlos Canizales. Bin had been hoping to make history by beating Vasyl Lomachenko’s record, winning a world title in his second professional fight, but Canizales was simply too much for him, attacking the body early and often until he wore Bin down over the long haul. In the final round Canizales tagged Bin along the ropes and dropped him. Bin was in such bad shape that the referee waved the fight off with only 1 second remaining.
Got a few pic from the main event: Get ready to rumble!! -Fighters get instructions from ref Kenny Bayliss. Michael Buffer doing the intros

Mathysse used to be a monster fighting at the lighter weights 135-140lbs. Got a record with only 4 losses and 36 out of 39 wins by KO.
Looked off the pace right from the start though, and never really troubling Pac, who looked in terrific nick. Blazing handspeed, and terrific movement. The guy has amazing charisma, and the whole place exploded when he started his ring-walk.
He put Mathysse down in the 3rd and 4th, before dropping him for good with a superb uppercut in the 6th.

I'm picking Parker late in the bout.
I came across this just now. Jimmy Peau. I got him picking up rubish when I was a prefect and he was a cheeky junior. I don't think I'd try that now
Don't blink in the first 2 seconds after the bell.
James Thunder - Pure Samoan Power ? Coconet
He's a chunky bloke...
I'm thinking Joseph Parker finishing him in the last 3-4 rounds. Unless Whyte has improved his accuracy and finesse since his last bout, which is unlikely.
Whyte almost KO'ed in the last, Parker down in the 9th

What a fucking tear up that was
I was off my armchair urging Parker on in the last round
Respect to your man Dicky
^Yep, White got away with some rough house tactics, but he put Parker down twice and enough to win despite a great final round from the Kiwi. Parker now lost 2 on the trot, and a bit in no-man's land in the Heavyweight Div.
There was also a good fight in the Lightweight (135lbs) category on Saturday. Mikey Garcia downing Robert Easter Jr a couple of times en route to a majority win. The winner should be a shoo-in for a shot at all the marbles in this division against #1 Vasyl Lomachenko, but their promoters don't get on so, oh hum business as usual.
Dereck Chisora vs Joseph Parker anyone?
Chisora KO'd Carlos Takam in the 8th of a tear up.
Takam's also lost to Joshua and Parker recently.
Chisora's close points loss to Whyte last year was also a classic.
So a bit of a jigsaw.
Tyson Fury reckons they've signed to fight Deontay Wilder in december.
Unfortunately, porcelain chinned scouser David Price has decided to box on after being Ko'd out cold, yet again.
