Shite internationally, but clubs like Buriram with an owner like Nevin who can chuck truckloads of cash to get a couple of talented Spaniards to run the game are alright. They can compete with the other cash endowed Asian clubs with their foreign imports ok. Indiginous suck at the game...can't pass the ball with any effect.Reckon Korea beat Italy in that world cup game a couple of world cups back was a set up.

The spades buriram had to win the league year before last got sacked for being un-sociable...Nothing to do with the colour of their skin, mind....they prefered pissing off off to pattaya on days off for bonking reasons....nevin did not approve!

Crap. The whole of their best ever (i.e. home) world cup was designed to aid their progress, from specious drug testing to dubious officiating.

Asian football is crap, and they have far too many places at the world cup.

If you took the top ten European sides and the top ten Asian sides and they played each other regularly in a league, you'd have 1-10 occupied by Europeans and 11-20 occupied by Asians.

    Don't like that video.

I filmed another 7 segments for Thailand and they didn't go into the final edit.

We have requested that they re-edit it to add some more sections in...

Not everyone knows you are awestralian Willy. And not everyone knows what Australians mean when they say footy.
Still a young country, yet to formulate its own language.

He's just trying to troll you Bob, pity he doesn't know how.

Chaz, they don't have to know I'm Awestralian to watch a video before commenting on it, no?

And, yes, I am in that video.

    Is that what it was?

It's quite simple, I don't go and mess up your soccer threads, leave my rugby, cricket or aussie footy ones alone.

    Not rocket science, is it?

Having watched the "ENTIRE," Vid, I would have to say, Footy in Asia is fairly repetitious.

Jakarta Bintangs take out 2013 EAAFL Premiership!
The Bintangs have taken the 2013 EAAFL Premiership.

Jakarta Bintangs’ President, John Eddy, reports live from Jakarta following the club’s successful campaign for the Inaugural 2013 East Asian AFL (EAAFL) Premiership. See below.

Following the recent decision by Malaysia to cancel their October tour to Jakarta, we will claim the victory by forfeit and thus announce ourselves as the 2013 EAAFL Premiers with 4 wins and a monster percentage.

Congratulations to all participating teams on a wonderful season and the Jakarta Bintangs are looking to go Back-to-Back in 2014.

Thanks also to AFL Asia for overseeing the competition.

From all the participating clubs in the 2013 EAAFL, congratulations to the Jakarta Bintangs. (In 2014, it is expected that AFL Asia, for home and away games, will be split into a SEAAFL (South East Asia AFL), SCAFL (South China AFL) and hopefully, a NEAAFL (North East Asia AFL that would incorporate Korea).
