He is a star. I really enjoyed his progamme on speed, not the drug. He holds the record for the fastest bicycle record over 110mph

There are times in life when you realise just how long a couple of seconds can actually be.

Greatest and best motorbike race on earth, what these guys are doing is fantastic and scary as fvuck in equal measure, as much as I tip my hat to them I also think they are completely nuts, they are at an age mental or real where they have yet to realize that death and injury is not just something that happens to someone else.

    Great stuff

..or just maybe they consider life isn't worth spit unless you live it.

This is raw courage and supreme self confidence.

One of the greatest thrills of my life was 'Mad Sunday' round the IoM TT circuit. One of the laps was with a pillion sat facing backwards taking photos of a mate tailing us. Not sure which of us [pillion] was the craziest or had the greatest thrill.....but it took a lot of trust. Went for a few years running in the late 70's/early 80's to rejuvenate...

The bikes I lapped with were: Guzzi le mans MkII , CBX1000, GPZ750, GPZ900. CX500, CB750F2 and that hair raiser above on a CB750K6 bored out to 860 with a 4into1 F1 exhaust hanging off some very dodgy wire-locked mounts that made it ground dangerously early....awesome bike and I have no bloody photos of it.....

My hero will always be Joey Dunlop:

i have always admired guy martin's riding and a pommy mate of mine said he works as a truck mechanic and fixed a truck for him.
aside from that, been watching a show about him and his mate fixing up an old canal boat and cruising about, he comes across as a good bloke as well as a champion rider.

Rider and mechanic engulfed in flames at Isle of Man TT

Supersport 2 rider Grant Wagstaff and his mechanic are covered in flames when fuel ignites after it spills onto the hot exhaust of his bike

    12:30PM BST 06 Jun 2014

A rider and mechanic were engulfed in flames when a bike caught fire at the Isle of Man TT on Wednesday.

The accident happened when competitor Grant Wagstaff stopped to have his bike refuelled during the Supersport 2 race and fuel was spilt onto the hot engine and exhaust.

The mechanic required treatment for burns to his hand and face and remained in hospital overnight before being released.

Amazingly, Wagstaff and the rest of the crew escaped serious injury.
