    Is Mancini on his way??

Some bookies have Manuel Pellegrini at 1/10 to replace Mancini. They seem to think it could be happening real soon. Strange timing if it does.

According to the after match interview with him today he says he is staying and all the talk is rubbish but I think he will be on his way.

I'm surprised he wasn't fired the moment Wigan picked up the Cup. Maybe the club's owners are planning a public beheading.

I think his lack of loyalty to his players (except of course for the fathering of Mario Ballotelli), as well as his public criticism of them on occasion will be his undoing. An example was his dropping of Costel Pantillimon (who had started in every other FA Cup game this season) in favour of Joe Hart. What message does that send to the other players in the club?

An inspiring manager he's not. You earn longevity as a manager through having leadership and man management skills as well as tactical nounce (pathetic displays in Europe as an example). He's certainly not, or ever will be, in the same league as Ferguson, Wenger or Moyes.

    Don't be ridiculous.

100 Lashes more likely; a beheading would be for losing a Champions League final.

According to the newspapers today he is on his way out,no big surprise..I am sure someone else will run in and give him a multi million contract soon enough. He won the premiership last year, come second this year,in the FA cup final,in Europe and you get sacked. lol

City played as if they had no briefing before the game. Maybe both players and manager looked at the bookies odds and expected to win the final without really trying.

The owners glare after the game said it all and the big fear for Utd will be that Mourinho takes over at City.

His Man City finished their Champions League group with the least points of any British club in Champions League history.

^ And Benitez said a few days ago "We all know who is coming here". It's not a done deal but it's looking likely.

With Jose and a decent striker, Falcao hopefully, I thing the Blues will be a flying high next season. Our midfield will be the best in Europe over the next couple of years I reckon.

Apparently Abu Qatada is going to be the next City manager.

They've hired him because he knows a thing or two about staying in Europe.

    ^^I liked that bit

Even in retirement, Sir Alex Ferguson has managed to outlast another Man City manager,

It's going to be very interesting next season. I very much doubt this has ever happened before? The clubs that finish 1,2, & 3 in the league all replacing their managers at the same time.

The thing is, for Chelsea players and back room staff it's about as eventful as the bin men coming each week. For United it's the biggest thing that's happened in the club's history.

It's going to be very interesting, I can't wait already and this season hasn't even finished yet.
