My most emotional, favorite rugby game of all time. Post yours.

I watched this defeat of England in a bar Norway ( Hagensaund) named The Wembley bar. We were the underdogs but all of us were on tenterhooks as the history of the ground demanded that we should win. It was the first time Ireland played a so called foreign game on G.A.A. sod.
Please post your favorite/most emotionlal wins here

thats easy, when playing for the school under 14s second xv, i was sent off after 20 minutes for being involved in a punch up, i was never picked again and was thus spared for evermore the horrors of this, the worst game on the planet.

The history of the game/ground was very emotional for Irish people.

I normally don't reply to knobs like yourself but you have sent me a red and called me an idiot in the joke section. Posted a idiotic comment in the reggae thread and now you're are being a knob in the sport section. Are you lonely? Without friends? Or you are just a total fcking loser as your online persona implies.
Grow a pair of balls and stop goading, reply properly like a man, you add nothing to the board.

Yup marmite beat me to that too.

Busy in my bar that day.

We had world cup winners tea shirts already made up. So downed our drinks and went round to the Office bar - full of Aussies . . . Great fun!

Still wear the shirt 10 years on...

I was in Phnom Penh with an aussie mate in a bar full of Aussies for the 2007 RWC against Aus. It was sweet.

Lightweight, when I left the SAS I enjoyed a lengthy career as a dual international outside centre inbetween cricket seasons where I opened.

What a day! I ended up watching at home alone, which was a shame. Would have been great to have been out soaking up the atmosphere somewhere. Never mind. Certainly a memory that will last forever.
