I can't believe how much the prices have risen. I don't think I could buy my squad from last year for less than 115 mill. Keep in mind that to win the ajarn league last year the average return per game was 55 points!! Cech total 178p Henry 231 double these as he was cap Terry 196 Lampard 269 Pires 174 Riise 160 Duff 159 Hasselbaink1152 for a total of 1591 or 42 points a game. cost for this lot is 63.5 leaving 4.2 mill for each of the 8 remaining players. But will they get a game?

| Well I hope this was an open invitation 'cos Bobby's Bulldogs have just become the 4th entrant. I couldn't justify Henry's cost, so I'm banking on a fully-fit RVN flourishing alongside Shrek. Mind you if last season is anything to go by, everyone I select will face a season blighted by injury. If you've selected RVN, Terry, Hyypia or Gerard, you may wish to sub them now. |

| Aspiring Guru | Most welcome Bobby. If you did pick Henry and he got injured early it's doubtful whether you'd be able to buy him back. Ruud and Rooney eh? I recommend Cech in goal as he's only 1 mill more than the next best and Chelsea have got to be most likely to keep the most clean sheets again. He's one of the rare good buys at this stage. Who will be this years Andy Johnson? Cheap but and scores 20! |

| *Dedicated to Arthur* Well, they're back in from swilling beer at the MCC, and all need some intensive training to get the lard off. A poor season methinks. Added after 54 minutes: OK, here are the useless wankers. 1: Martyn 2: Clapham 3: Purse 4: Matteo 5: Lampard (C) 6: Pires 7: Wright-Phillips 8: Zenden 9: Crouch 10: Bent 11: Keane Subs 12: Poom (Goalkeeper) 13: Thatcher (Defender) 14: Carsley (Midfielder) 15: Jensen N (Defender)

| I have Carroll as reserve goalie. I've put Benayoun in, not just because I'm a West Ham fan, but because he is a player who scores a lot from midfield, and I reckon he's going to make quite an impact. Not too expensive at 6.5. |

| Aspiring Guru | I wonder about Wright-Phillips. I figure on Lampard, Makelele, Robben and one of either Duff, Cole or W-P for most games as Chelski's midfield. Squad rotation is a luxury fantasy league managers don't have and they ultimately fuck you over. Give me the Cahill, Stelios, Okacha types who can score and will play every week! |

| Patong Beach | Ant Raiders are in. Lampard, Terry and Wright Phillips are the Chelski in the team. Still toying with the midfield. May invest in another midfielder instead of WP as Chelsea have so many midfielders to choose from I don't think he'll play every game. |

| Just checked the website and it's all very tight in the Teak Door Fantasy League! Bob's Bulldogs managed by Bobby Robson are the early leaders with 138 pts, 12 points clear of 2nd place, with a mere 9 points currently separating 2nd from 2nd bottom (Or 6th). Real Richey have just made three transfers after realising that Francis Jeffer's is not going to be this years Andy Johnson like dark horse and is in fact just a [at][at][at][at]. Am also hoping that Bobby Zamora's ego can take a spell on the bench. |
