    KL F1 this weekend

Popping down to Kl on Friday for 2 nights to see the F1 racing, second year on the trot.

Air asia do some good package deals on the flight & hotel, the ticket for the practise on Saturday & the race on Sunday is not that bad either, but best to book direct with Sepang curcuit online, much cheaper than going through the agents etc.

Last year it was a really great weekend

Hopefully the new British boy Hamilton can pull it out of the bag this time, he should have got second in Melbourne, but his pit crew buggered him up!!!

Lucky old you - Have a great time.

On the tele at 7.30 am in the UK. Mind, this will be a lie-in after the greeting up at 2.30am for the Aussie race. I do believe that year's F1 will be a close run thing.....Mmmmmmmmm Alonso methinks.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!

After yesterdays screw up by yours truly I am already settled on the sofa and have booked the tv for 1pm sharp.

I thought it was saturday yesterday as my son knocked off school for the weekend. Bloody Easter!

Yes Hamilton does look good. Don't know if Raikonnen had to change his engine?

Of course I wany Weber to kick some arse (feebly waving an Aussie flag)

Cracking race. One can't be anything but impressed with Lewis Hamilton....I'll eat my hat if he's not the next Brit World Champion....I'll eat my hat whatever happens, but I'll enjoy it more if Mr Hamilton triumphs in the next few years.

He certainly impressed with his maturity and ability.

Still, he has been groomed by mc laren since he was 12, time to collect on their investment. Poor old Jenson, no longer the English glamour boy struggling in a poor car. saw him interviewed with a scraggly beard, looked like he just woke up.

Just back from KL & the F1, great weekend, Lewis Hamilton turned up at the Maclaren tent on Sunday breifly, a very ordinary nice guy, completley un-daunted by all the attention he is getting, comes across as a very nice guy.
Real great weekend & Lewis drove great, the way he kept Massa behind him in the early stages was amazing, everybody loves the guy.

His first win has to be on the cards in the next couple of races

Soon as i get the film developed I'll try & load some photos onto this thread if I can work out how to do it?

I think Button is struggling with his car, personally I think his beard suits him

Well, Bahrain is due off within the hour. The start should be well worth watching - Massa is saying that he will be more aggressive - I hope that no one gets taken off by a silly manoeuvre.

    anyone still following f1

    Anyone still following F1?

Scandal, amazing crashes (Kubica), young gun (Hamilton), German GP...good season so far.

How much do you think Schumi wishes he stayed on to take a crack at Hamilton and Alonso?
