Blimey, can't believe its back again.

    Another 12 months flew by.

Need to study the card to pick the winner

    You can't argue with that

Niners have strengthened their receiving corp this year but has Aex Smith got another stellar season in him?

I think it could be his last in SF.

The defense has not been looking great in pre-season but that's only a minor worry, away to GB first up is a tough start though so would be nice to see them click in pre-season 4.

Watched a couple of the preseason games. Nuthin special, everybody trying out their QB and other lineups. Just makes me happy to watch. Jets playing tonight, but I gotta watch the GOP convention most; think Sanchez will always start, but knowing the fickle Jet fans, one booboo and Tebow's in (he really feked up last week tho).
And my beloved Patriots, Saints, Cowboys...aww, too many teams, not enough time.

Still think Tebow is any good? His passing last week was dire, overthrows, under throws, didn't complete a pass while I was watching.

^ Poor Tebow is getting scrunched for his religion more than his performance, yet when I watched MLB last night, the Latino boys were all crossing themselves at the plate.
Anyhoo, smiling perty after the Boys beat the Giants.Romo seems to have won a partial God lottery.

Yes!!! The Niners took out the Packers on the road. Dominated on offense and defense. Randy Moss got a TD pass as well. Knock on wood, and keep on going my men!!

The Jets kicked the crap out of Buffalo- if Sanchez can do that every week (123.4 rating), Tebow's new nickname is going to be 'Splinters'.

Anybody watch the Seahawks/Packers game? Holy sh*t, what a poor call in the hail Mary pass. It was Jennings interception fair and square. I'm pulling outta my pool!

The mayor of Green Bay is going after the NFL and Goodell on that one. Too many blown calls, and no command of the game by the refs.

dont forget these guys are really the bottom of the barrel. They are not even college refs, they are just some guys who might have reffed a semi pro game a few years ago.

The scab refs are the best thing that could have possibly happened to the bargaining position of the striking refs- they're showing just how difficult a job being a ref is, and how important they are to the game.

The stupid owners need to get over their ridiculous no pension stance. They have already admitted that its about power not money. Greedy assholes.

    I saw the game twice.

Lots of bad calls. And flags constantly.

Even watching in real-time you can tell a call was blown.

The NFL is upholding the final TD call - what else can they do?

But I think this will motivate getting the regular refs back in the game and realize they are definitely needed. Fans all over the league are commenting on how poor the officiating is.

I am from Seattle and a Seahawks fan. I just wish that we were playing the Steelers. That would have been some sweet revenge.

^ I'm from Seattle too, bud.

I know what you mean. I still remember that holding call on Locklear (and some others).

    Hope you're well in Seattle.

^ The Seahawks new green shoes look kinda gay doncha think? Did Mahalo Blanick design them? Packers and the old black and blue division teams haven't gone metrosexual and never will.

I actually like that green on the shoes, side of the pants, and gloves.

I think it's not too much and fits in well.

In the last several years I've never liked the Seahawks uniforms, but now I like them.

The Seahawks jumped up to #10 in the power ranking and face St. Louis next week which has an apparently weak offensive line.

The Seattle D-fense has been looking very good.

I am positive for the Seahawks vs. St. Louis Rams next week.

Ya, I was so into the game antics I forgot about those ugly lime green pansy shoes. Def NOT by Manolo tho (I have a pair of his black patent pumps -- almost as nice as my Jimmy Choo's).

I must admit that the Seabreams' defense was awesome, so congrats to their fans, but agree with Y'all that the series of missed/bad calls was shudder-worthy.

Dunno about this pension/pay stuff: the refs make $150K-plus for 20 weekends of work and they all have regular full-time jobs, so WTF? They want the same pay as the players? We don't watch the games for the bladdy refs. And, when they do come back, we all know that any itty-bitty error they make will be BOOed to high heaven. Meh.

Anyway, so many upsets in the opening 3 weeks, who can call anything?

^ They do not want the same play as players and they spend several hours during the week reviewing film and prepping.

49ers are a good bet for the NFC championship game at least...
