Yes, well done to Welsh for finish in fine form, allbeit last
Can't help feeling, that much as the French did last Week, England didn't turn up for the match. Which actually sums up their perfomance throughout the tournament - in each match, they seem to emulate the tactics of the team they played the previous week.

so the stinking French won again. Brutal ownage for the UK (yes the UK)
Great night of rugby.
Wonderful performance by the Irish in Rome bodes well for the world cup....which we will win

sorry Marmite.

Bollocks, his impending retirement was announced long ago,he knew he'd not play again this season, so he retired there and then.
The IRB then decided to 'get tough' and issued the lifetime ban knowing it would not be challenged. You don't honestly think they'd have had the nuts to do that to a younger player do you.
And the 6N is a tournament, this has nothing to do with it.....Brennan has not been a member of the Irish squad for 6 years. My statement stands and is valid.
admit it, you'd never even heard of Trevor Brennan unil this.....
Marmite....you still denying Saturdays score?....hanging out in Kanchanaburi pretending you weren't even interested enough to watch the game just does fool us.

I'm not sure about the effort part.
I think they were just up against a team with a lot more ability.
The English park is dreadful.
I was a better hooker than Chuter and the back row that played oin Saturday wouldn't get near most international teams, certainly not England's when they are fit.
A special mention to Martin Williams, was born near me and is a lovely bloke.
He is simply fukking brilliant and will go down as the epiphanal player of his generation, I pity the poor bastard for being part of such a mostly shit team for so long.
I thought Englands best player was Shane Williams
^but he's a dwarf.
well done to wales. it showed a heck of a lot of character to come back from 4 losses and the pressure from the welsh press and sniping pundits has been immense. quality.
i went to meet a friend for the first game and got absolutely hammered. i know i watched the wales/england match but i have no recollection of it at all. probably just as well.
