^ I wonder if the Warratahs will turn up? If the Reds cannot turn it on today then what would motivate them? I reckon the reds will get through and have a real chance to get to the final too - coming strong at the right time (similar to the Crusaders and Sharks), as the Bulls, Stormers and Chiefs seem to be dropping of a little bit...

On this link, the mike is still on:

You can hear the commentators chatting: 'mate, that's what you call a shit performance...' etc. Kearns is fukin retarded, the camera is on him, but they're not broadcasting, and he even looks like a fukin retard...

You will need to ask SANZAR that.. They decided to rank the refs use them accordingly.
But you would think that come playoff time they would go for neutral refs.

    Good guesses.

I was hoping the Bulls would do better, but the Crusaders are a fine team. Are the Chiefs and Stormers on a downward spiral, with the Crusaders and Stormers on the up???

And the Sharks you mean, but yes, I saw it like that, the form teams were the Reds, Saders and Sharks, but I felt there is more often than not a big away win in any playoffs and the Sharks looked like the team capable for me.

Lots of mixed feelings about next week, I think one of today's winners will make the final....

To win overall the Sharks will have one hell of a travel itinerary. They now fly home to play the Stormers in CT and if they win that a trip back to NZ to play the top Kiwi team..
Three trans Indian Ocean trips in two weeks may be just too much physically.

Agree with that; wouldn't be surprised if both do - The Crusaders have recently beaten the Chiefs, and the Shark's pack is really coming on strong; I think the SA v England games really helped them too (they were the pack...). J P Pietersen has surprised me this season, I never particularly rated him before, but he is a big strong player, makes good decisions in defence and attack, finishes tries really well too.

    Yep.

Four very good teams, the semis and final will be really interesting. This tournament makes the English premier league (rugby) look utter shite, imo...

The Reds (oops sorry, they are OUT!).

So,the Stormers, Sharks, Chiefs and Crusaders = 2 Kiwi and 2 Bokers... It'll be a Kiwi v Boker final.

JP Pietersen is the best right winger in the world at the moment, I've always rated him, but his form at the moment is superb. I think the decline in Habana has highlighted him better.

^ quite possibly so. He has a very good picture of what's going on around him when he has the ball in hand, thus he can consistently make good decisions.

If they do, then they will be a mighty team...chances are that any team subjected to that much travel in two weeks will lose.....which is why I want them to win Betty!

^ yes, I see your point. The Chiefs are looking good, I reckon they can beat the Stormers away. I don't think they'd currently be beating the Sharks away, but they don't need to... Looking good for the Kiwis.

^ If the Crusaders had won, then I would have been more confident of an away win.

Not so sure about the Chiefs though, but fingers crossed.
