There's no further story in the book for them to adapt, but the series is so different from the book anyway, so that's not really a problem.

Yes, season two is in the pipeline.

Cheers good to know, in that case then if it isn't a strict adaptation the season can easily stand on its own and end quite neatly as it did. I shall find a copy of the book to read.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

A few laughs to be had here:

    Synopsis

After encountering a ghost in his family's vacation home, Dan a modern artist and his wife Mary hire an "industrial-grade exorcist" named Os to get rid of the beings. But Dan soon realizes that ridding the home of evil won't be as simple as it seems.

Finished watching all of "The Man in The High Castle"

Quite good overall, but hard to follow what those tapes are all about.

Recommended, and season 2 was better than season 1, which can be a rarity, and the Season 2 Finale was pretty heavy.

Its also another one that needs to be watched when you can pay attention.

Yeah, forgot why I lost interest in that after four episodes.

I usually like these 'what if...' premises.

Our whole family went to see 'The Eagle Has Landed' at the cinema when I was 12 and thought it was 'bril'.

I lost interest in the beginning as well, but went back to it after finishing "Colony" late one night. Gears up pretty well towards the end of season 1. A lot of characters and background story. Its one that has to be watched undistracted I think.

Has Real Detective been mentioned yet?

Its not for binge watching, unless your Cold Pizza or a serial murderer

It was based on a British series called "Criminal Justice" of which there was a Season 2 with a completely different storyline and characters.

    However,

Speaking at an Emmy For Your Consideration event in North Hollywood on Thursday night, co-creator Steven Zaillian, joined by stars Riz Ahmed and John Turturro, was asked whether or not Season 2 was a possibility.

“My client pleads the fifth,” joked Turturro, who played defense attorney John Stone on “The Night Of.”

“Listen, we would love to do it,” Zaillian said. “And when I say ‘we,’ I mean [co-creator] Richard Price and myself. If we can come up with something that we fall in love with, we’ll do it. If we don’t, we won’t.”
    That was in April.

Just watched a movie 2007, the man from earth, more of a play on film then a movie, not my ususal cup of tea.
More of an action, kill them all type, Syfi thing etc, but found it held my attention, again worth the watch.

    Decent Bollywood offering

A grief-stricken cop and an amputee grandmaster are brought together by a peculiar twist of fate as part of a wider conspiracy that has darkened their lives.

    Sleight (2016)

A young street magician supports his family after their parents death by working as a drug dealer. He appears to have some mystical power.

Things go bad with the drug dealer....

Not a bad watch for a low budget effort.

    6.5/10.

I've just finished with season 3 of Fargo. Nothing ever happens as expected in this series. Love it.

Over the past weeks, I've again been watching "Rome". What a great series. Really too bad it only went for two seasons. I remember reading somewhere that it was cancelled due to the high cost of production. Too bad. If you've never seen it, it's a 10/10.

Though I've had it for a while, just started to get into "Big Little Lies", a 7 episode 'who dunnit' type drama set in Monterey. Stars Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon and a whole host of familiar faces.

    Rocknrolla.

Guy Ritchie produced, with Tom Hardy and a bunch of others you'll recognize. A few years old, but great quality 7.7gb 1080p on PB. Bit cliched at the start, but gets good. Worth a watch if nothing else to do.

Kong: Skull Island was a treat for a rainy Sunday afternoon. Apocalypse Now/King Kong vs the monsters mix-up. Good actors, music, and eye candy. Don't expect anything too deep.

I saw 10 minutes of Supergirl which looks like good family viewing. Just downloaded 2 seasons and it's also on Netflix.
