Finally bit the bullet and finished Tin Star.

Actually not completely bad, your typical Tim Roth nutter, but it went a bit silly in the last couple of episodes. Let's just say that it was a long reveal.

5/10.

"Lanester". A very atypical French detective movie. Hard-coded English subs by SNO. On PB. This was a really good movie. 8.5/10.

Finally found a good copy of Battle for the Planet of the Apes.

Didn't come with subtitles for the ape sign language parts though so I'll need to download those from another source and fiddle around a bit syncing them.

Just look for subs that match the exact file name. They're normally synced for that version.

Watched Hitler: The Rise of Evil again today, probably for the 3rd time.

Quality production - Robert Carlyle (Begbie) and the soundtrack. Both brilliant.

Just watched the full seasons of Breaking Bad for the first time on netflix, took the whole free month but as addictive as the meth they were making.

Mr Robot had somehow never blipped on my radar.

Just finished season 1. Very good.

I also loved the instrumental version of The Pixies' 'where is my mind' that they use near the end of episode 9.

That got me onto the pianist who has a career in classical piano adaptations of selected popular music.

And on that note... Great movie! Perfect end to the trilogy. Just hope now they don't go all dumb with a 'Beneath the Planet of the Apes' type turd like the original (there were hints toward that in the film so... )

Its like 10:30 PM of the 26th on the east coast, so fingers crossed it'll be up everywhere tomorrow. Ill be catching it on Netflix for that there awesome picture & sound quality.

Watched the first 2EP of SEA2 of "Frontier". I now recall that SEA1 was equally tedious.

I nostalgia overload for me. The 80's, man, as a kid. Bikes & walkie talkies. Exploring.

But yeah Winona is always punchable. I think thats why they used her.
