^In Pat's world, many things are possible which are often incomprehensible to mere mortals.

"30 Degrees in February". A Swedish series (2 seasons so far, 10 episodes per season) filmed in Sweden and Thailand. Some very funny moments and well worth watching, particularly for us Expats.

In this picture taken from that trailer, is this really what I think it is?

A 'woman' taking a piss while standing?...........Is this really the best stereotype Thailand can offer the world?

Just DL'ed the first five episodes.......Thanks!

Pretty sure the one I saw was called Me love you long time. In Febuary. When its 30 degrees. Celcius.

It was kind of a long title...

Good show. Took me an episode or two to get into it, but then, like most soap operas, it became addictive.

After 4 seasons, "Black Sails" finally bites the dust. It was never a great series, far too much talking, but the ocean scenes and great ship battles made it worth watching (with a fair bit of fast forwarding).

    Aftermath.

Arnold Schwarzenegger gets deep in a movie with a sting in its tail.

Two strangers' lives become inextricably bound together after a devastating plane crash. Inspired by actual events, AFTERMATH tells a story of guilt and revenge after an air traffic controller's (Scoot McNairy) error causes the death of a construction foreman's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) wife and daughter.

I haven't seen this one discussed so far in thread. Apologies if I missed it.

Hand of God a drama aired on Amazon is well worth a look. It ran for 2 series (10 episodes each) but I feel it could easily have made a third as it did leave a few loose ends imo.

The plot description 'Hand of God follows Pernell Harris, a corrupt judge who suffers a breakdown and believes God is compelling him onto a path of vigilante justice' didn't impress me but I was looking for something a little different.

I watched the first episode and was hooked and binge watched the two series. Certainly not as corny as the plot description makes it out to be and with enough twists and turns to make you want to watch the next episode

    Decent psycological thriller:

    Mine (2016)

In the middle of the desert, in an area filled with 33 million blast mines scattered everywhere, Marine sniper Sargent Mike Stevens is on a mission to locate and neutralise the leader of a terrorist cell. After three months and six days in the desert, one single moment of hesitation was enough to blow the entire mission, and now Sargent Stevens has stranded in a hostile guerrilla territory all alone, and to make matters worse, with his left foot stepping on an active mine. Against the harsh environment, without food and water, the Sargent must stay glued to the spot and use his Marine training, his resourcefulness and his perseverance for the next 52 hours until a convoy arrives in his area. Between the scolding heat of the day and the freezing cold of the night, if Sargent Stevens wants to survive, he must fight not only against the mighty forces of nature but also versus the greatest adversary of them all: himself.
It's not a war action bloodfest. Please note.

    Anyone watching Legion ?

''A troubled young man battling mental illness wonders if the visions he experiences are ... Legion (2017– ). 9.0/10''

    just downloading the last episode
but fuck knows what going on, its confusing enough as
I usually speed watch each episode, to avoid the silly bits ,and I avoided the last one entirely due to a pair of faggots at the start . but each episodes seems to have a different writer so hopefully this one isn't a faghag too.

Cheers min, what actually happened is they started to air season 2 but it clashed with something else and viewing numbers were so low that they pulled it. They are rolling it out weekly now.

Its a bloody excellent show, get stuck into season one, its pretty intense.

I didnt get involved with the grand national, buf my mate Arthur did.
    Lang may yer lum reek...

Just watched Edge of Tomorrow starring Tom Cruise.

What a solid movie. The guy still has it, and carries this one with ease. Very good movie if you're looking for action/sci-fi combo type of deal.

    9/10
