Ive seen some terrible acting before - take a look at the movie Kickboxer with forest whitaker. Anyhow, i saw a few trailers of Deadwood and i must say his lines were a bit cack. On Justified, no. i see no shite acting.

I couldn't watch a series with lame acting. It would kill me.

Agree good northern folk getting on with life. You must issue warnings on your recommendations. Too many dismiss the gritty reality of how some people exist.

Dont get me wrong, '88 was good watch, i saw them all but it was the miserable gormless expression of Shaun that nearly had me turning of VLC.

Anyhow, its all good to see the original actors from the 1st series and the film. So i cant wait to see what happens in 1990.

All four episodes of British crime drama "Inside Men" are up.

It's about three employees of a money counting company that engineer a Brinks Mat style robbery.

Plenty of twists and quite well written.

I suppose when I phrase it that way, it might make Buttplug's ears prick up, excuse the pun.

Homeland is excellent. And if it's a day's viewing you want, then it will do fine.

    ^ You'll really enjoy it.

Also if you havent seen it, i urge you to get the first series of Chris Ryan's Strike Back. Its a British 6 episode, drama. Each episode is 30 mins and it was shown on Shy HD as a 1 hour segments.

Season 2 i thought wasn't as good as season 1, and i wasn't the only person to think that.

You might recognise Richard Armitage there on the front cover, on the right. He's the star of The Walking Dead.

First two episodes up of "Danger 5".

"Set in a bizarre 1960's inspired version of World War II, this action comedy follows a team of five spies on a mission to kill Hitler".

Well I'm going to have a look anyway, just on that description!

    Charlie Wilsons War

Great movie!! staring Tom Hanks,Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Charlie was an American congressman who was responsible for the funding of the Afghans in their war against the Soviets. He was a shagger, a drug taker and an all-round party boy. (Self proclaimed!!)

I would have liked to meet him.The movie portrays him as no fool at all.He took his job seriously, but not himself.I s'pose a likeable rogue.

Here is one of his quotes

The girls had cocaine, and the music was loud. It was total happiness. And both of them had ten long, red fingernails with an endless supply of beautiful white powder.... The feds spent a million bucks trying to figure out whether, when those fingernails passed under my nose, did I inhale or exhale, and I ain't telling.
    — Charlie Wilson
Philip Seymour Hoffman plays an off beat, very smart CIA agent.

    True story.

As did I but I couldn't quite get over Hanks playing a fun-loving, hedonistic character. Same as when he played that hitman. Didn't work for me. Seen him too many times in the loveable scamp role.

The series follows the Montebello family, whose business involves smuggling drugs into Australia as well as guns and exotic wildlife out, making use of ties of blood and loyalty in the Torres Strait Islands.
