Another Showtime pilot is out there: House of Lies.
A subversive, scathing look at a self-loathing management consultant from a top-tier firm. Marty, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want.

Some interesting movies coming out soon.

    Aliens

This Disney one reminds me of Star Wars for some reason.

I posted a link to some Christmas Archie Bunker videos. One of the Christmas shows called 'Draft Dodger' kind of surprised me about the seriousness in the comedy at that time. I feel kind of shocked at how bad today's TV has become.

Here's the clip. You might like it. And is may bring back some memories. There are others available through download.

The first two are action and scifi.

Not sure how old you are but the TV episode of Bunker is interesting. May not appeal to Brits. Bunker has his Christmas dinner with his relatives. A friend of his daughter's boyfriend comes from Canada for a Christmas visit. He's a draft dodger and so could be arrested if caught. Bunker has a friend at the dinner who's son was killed in Vietnam. It's comical but confronts the issue of going and possibly dying in Vietnam or jumping the fence and going to Canada. Not that complex but that's the idea.

In honour of the great leader's death, I urge you to download "Team America - World Police" (the unrated edition).

Probably has the funniest sex scene in movie history.

^ I'll give that a go. Would prefer to get a copy of the book first though.

Followed one of Sabai's links to a travel documentary called Alone in the Wild which featured Freddy Flintoff in Africa..no seeds couldn't get it to download, but came across another torrent with the same title about a Scotch chap surviving in the Grizzly and Black bear ridden wilds of Canada. definitely worth a watch if you like that sort of thing..very entertaining, edge of your seat stuff.

In the future, thanks to the Grain, a chip which can be implanted on a hard drive in the brain, every single action that a person makes is recorded and may be played back. Liam,a lawyer, married with a child, suspects that his wife Fi is having a fling with the brash Jonas, whom they meet at a dinner party. After playing clips from his own 'Grain' his suspicions are confirmed, and he gets drunk and attacks Jonas, forcing the guilty pair to show him what is in their memory banks. In fact the affair has been going on for months and Liam attacks Jonas, demanding that he erase all memories of Fi from his brain. This, however, does not result in marital reconciliation

I've been watching Strike Back and I'm quite enjoying it.

    EZTV - TV Torrents Online

Strike Back (promoted as Chris Ryan's Strike Back) is based on the eponymous novel written by ex-British Special Forces soldier Chris Ryan.

Starring Richard Armitage and Andrew Lincoln, Strike Back is a compelling story of betrayal, glory, redemption and revenge played out through the interlinking lives of two former soldiers: military hero Hugh Collinson (Lincoln) and discharged veteran John Porter (Armitage).

'Archie Bunker' or more correctly "All In The Family" was the americanised version of the English show "Till Death Us Do Part" (Main character - Alf Garnett).

Yanks do that a lot. Find a popular English TV show and then refilm it with american actors and canned laughter, and then call it their own.

eg. 'The Office', 'Steptoe and Son/Sanford and Son' etc. usually the resultant copy is rubbish.

    My 2c worth.
