National Geographic: Inside the Vietnam War DVDR

John Adams DVDR Disc 3 - highly recommended HBO historical drama

21 DVDR - 21 is the fact-based story about six MIT students who were trained to become experts in card counting and subsequently took Vegas casinos for millions in winnings. Kevin Spacey stars.

    InTheCrack #8 , site-rip.
~20GB, a disaster for my share ratio since I have no chance of seeding it all back.
    #1 - #7 gave me a 50GB minus.

Me too. DL'd yesterday, but will wait until Thursday night to watch it. BTW, the subtitles work file in VLC; you just need to turn them on.
Sorry to quote myself, but I have to say that this movie was superb. Nearly every movie I've watched recently has bored me (didn't finish Fargo), but this had me captivated from start to finish.

Thank you DF for the heads up.

Some supposedly leaked tracks from Chinese Democracy Guns N Roses. More than likely rubbish.

If these are tracks to be on the album then ginger fucknut W Axl Rose is in for a panning. 14 years in the making and it sounds like it was made 14 years ago. Flashes of not bad padded out with disjointed crap.

    History Bites season 1, 3, and 4.

Just finished watching season 2 and was very entertaining, funny, and educational. Scriptwriters did a great job on it. Historical events seen through the eyes of t.v. (if it had been around then). The medieval cooking shows esp good. Like watching Monty Python do history.

I just wish some seeders would pop up more often. I have a feeling I'm only going to get half the files.

    I really like it.

a lot harder than their old stuff but those beautiful vocals hold it together.

well worth a download if you are any sort of fan of portishead.

in fact, it's quite rare for me to really enjoy an album on the first listen, but i really enjoyed a couple of the tracks off the bat.

the 4th track (the rip) is just my sort of music, seriously beautiful.

    Cannibal Holocaust (1980)

apparently the most banned movie of all time.

banned in over 50 countries. rented it from rimping a few years ago and loved it.

pleased to have found it at demonoid.

    i know.

    ridiculous innit.

i rented it from a bottom shelf at rimping a few years back.

    it's a must see classic.

the director was actually arrested afterwards because the cast were believed to be dead owing to its realism.

they sold it as a snuff movie and did it a bit too well.

    Tutti Frutti

    Plot

Legendary Scots rock 'n' roll outfit The Majestics are a Scottish rock band, are on the eve of their 1986 "Silver Jubilee" tour, and find themselves in trouble when their lead singer, Big Jazza McGlone is killed in a car crash.
The group's manager Eddie Clockerty (Wilson) talks Big Jazza's younger brother, Danny (Coltrane), home from New York for the funeral, into joining the band as their new lead singer. Suzi Kettles (Thompson), a sharp cookie and old classmate of Danny, picks up the guitar and also joins the band. From that moment the ill fated tour and the band's fortunes appear to take a turn for the better.
The Majestics' final dispiriting tour of Scotland's less salubrious clubs and pubs is punctuated by childish backstage squabbling and a series of personal disasters. The fractious on-off relationship between rotund but sexy Danny McGlone and Suzi Kettles adds a further comic dimension, along with the 'double-act' of the dour Mr Clockerty and his lippy secretary Janice Toner (Murphy).

I remember watching the original series and thinking it was brilliant. The download appears to have been ripped from VHS so the quality might be crap.

Scare Tactics - American Shite but actually very very funny.

People are scared in a candid camera.

Aliens in the desert, serial killers in the woods.

    Worth a watch.
