    Skint

I have downloaded Skint seasons 1 and 2 from UK NOva and watched them over the weekend.

If you want to watch a reality tv documentary about being skint in the UK this is it.

It will remind you of how bad life really is back home.

    Depressing yet compelling television.

The program made me realise how skint some of my mates used to be.

Going to Cash Convertors to get a fiver.

    that is miserable,

i do recall a time (in my university days) - we had a field trip to Tourqay for the weekend - I dropped into me mum's place before I left me mum knew I was a bit skint so she gave me $20 and a large container of stew for dinner that night.

So I bought a loaf of bread and eat the stew with bread the entire weekend - and saved the $20 for beer!

my sunday arvo I was well sick of eating stew and bread!

I was so skint once I loaded me ute with all the empty stubbies I could find in the back yard and drove down to the bottle shop to cash them in. But had to drive in reverse as the foward band had gone in the trans I got plenty of funny looks driving around in reverse also had to be careful how I parked it
