    Early musical memories

As there is no longer any english language radio in Bangkok I dusted off some old tape compilations i had made several years ago to pass the time.
Talking Heads came on with "Psycho Killer" and it reminded me of my estranged eldest son who when he was just old enough to talk would follow me around singing "psycho killer qu'est ce que c'est fa fa fa fa fa etc' much to the bewilderment of passing adults. His first album that he went crazy over was Paul Simon and Graceland. I had to keep playing it constantly.

it got me thinking to my first musical "addiction" and I recalled the walking cardigan Val Doonican and Walk Tall, I remeber my parents buying the single for me even though we didnt have a record player. I think it was just to shut me up -- fat chance.

What was your firsr musical memory ?

C'mon all you Bay City Roller fans out there now is the time to own up

    Crazy Horses by The Osmonds.

I was 3 years old sitting on the bottom stair at my first house during a party that Mum & Dad threw.

This thread has got me thinking.
I can just picture my eldest daughter when she was 3/4 standing behind a group of dancing adults at a party one step behind to Billy Ray Cyrus and Achy Breaky Heart.
Now where are those Kleenex? Tears are forming

    My earliest musical memories...
    "He was a one-eyed,
    one-horn,
    flying purple people eater"
    And
    "Tan Shoes,
    Pink shoelaces
    A polka-dot vest,
    and Man oh, Man!"

    No fuckin shit
