Does anybody rip their own games to DVD for their 360? Is it a pain-in-the-ass? Which burning software are you using?

    Rage (PC).

From the makers of Doom, it's a cross between that and Borderlands.

    A few caveats:

    (1) It's extremely fussy about video cards and you'll probably need to download a new driver.
    (2) System requirements very high.
    (3) It's an 18Gb Download!

But if you can get past all the cut scenes and shit, it's quite a decent FPS.

Just a little over a week for BF3. I have it preordered for my PC. That is the format you will want to play this game on.

Just been playing Rage and it's very impressive, it juggles the mix of formats, death racing and dungeon shooting, very well. It's quite linear but the ability to choose from several types of mission makes it feel like it's still your choice which direction to go. The main focus is on the single player campaign, which makes a nice change instead of going all out for the multiplayer experience, and it looks to be very extensive. The action is arcade style rather than realistic and the animation is stylised and atmospheric. 8/10

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

    EA Servers Unavailable

Anyone playing Medal of Honor and getting the "EA Servers are currently unavailable" message. Its been 5 days now and still unable to get online and play.

    I'm on an XBOX.

Does EA pull this sort of stunt when the game gets a bit old and they want you to go and buy another game????

^^ EA are probably utilising every spare server they've got for the launch of BF3.
Pre-orders are 2 million worldwide, there's going to be some tantrums when those servers start crashing.

I finished Rage yesterday, no spoilers, but I think they could have done a lot more with it, 25 hours gameplay for a production that has obviously been detailed meticulously seems a bit of a let down,. cranking it up to hardcore mode would add a few more hours, but tbh once you've done the missions you won't want to do them again as they are so linear.

Batman Arkham City has been out for a week now and has a 9/10 from Gamespot. Arkham Asylum is one of the all time best console games out there, so I'm looking forward to getting hold of the sequel.

Got my battlefield 3 for the Xbox today.
Really good. Haven't played the single player game yet and may never get around to it as the multiplayer is awesome.

Only downside compared to COD is that there is no split screen multiplayer so will have to go back to Black Ops whenever my son wants to kick my arse.

I'm gonna have to hold off from BF3 until the floods have gone because I've had to dismantle the ps3 and surround sound.

I'll go and look for it at the shops on the weekend.

The multi-player for BF3 got rave reviews on GameSpot, but the single-player campaign was called boring and derivative of earlier FPS games- kind of surprising.

^^That's gotta be a wind-up. Those don't even look like computer graphics.

It would be sweet if they were real though.

I've got BF3 out on rental for 5 days, I thought I'd try before I buy, and I'm very impressed.

I only play in Hardcore mode, I don't like the idea of everyone running around with a marker above their heads and I find the Hardcore players are more likely to work as a team and show better battlefield awareness.

It seems that DICE really have listened to the players previous gripes and put a lot of thought into balancing the gameplay and improving the overall experience with good map layouts and themes. I'm on xbox and the inclusion of a server browser is an absolute bonus, I've yet to experience any lag greater than the difference in ping times.

The whole audio visual experience is stunning, for instance attacking over a hill and into the sun against snipers and LMG's is mesmerizing and makes you feel lucky that this experience is not as real as it seems.

The only drawback is that 12 v 12 players is not enough to fill the beautifully rendered battlefields but that's hardly a complaint is it.

I got BF3 for the PC the other day. The Campaign mode is great so far. I dont know why it got a slating. Multiplayer is where the game comes into its own though. Unfortunately my GTX260 isnt really up for the job, so ive just ordered a GTX460OC which should really open the game up, and give a better experience. My only complaint is, theres loads of modern warfare kids on the servers. Hopefully most will bugger off now MW3 is due out. Perhaps i`ll have to do as Neo says, and try the hardcore mode. So far, an excellent game. 9/10

I was directed to a very good BF forum, while searching the net for an answer.
The majority of forums EA, IGN etc are full of kids that just want lolz or the terminally negative and no good for serious gameplay discussion or help with technical problems, but this one has been quite helpful. Nice forum software too.

    I've finally got BF3!!!!

But my online pass code is coming up 'Invalid'

I've opened up the in game online store and I get this.

(The zero friends thing just means that I've got no 'Friends Online'. I've got friends in real life.)

And then this. The 'Redeem Codes' green triangle button is not highlighted so I can't press it.

And I've tried doing it through the account management settings through the psn store and I get this.

Has anyone else had any problems?

Is Bobcock Jr around because he could probably fix this.
