    Thai Psycho?

Anyone ever watched American Psycho...foking excellent film methinks and I'm currently reading the book...

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.
Well recently I've been worried about my own state of mind and a few others here seem to be total nutters...

One of Patrick Bateman's foibles is to mutter psychopathic rantings at people who can't quite here him...always with a smile on his face..

You're a fucking ugly bitch. I want to stab you to death, and then play around with your blood.
..this said to a bitchy serving wench.

I like to dissect girls. Did you know I'm utterly insane?
I think I've lost the point of this thread, but it had something to do with me being a bit nuts but smiling a lot.

I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.

    yes, i agree nick.
The book is an enjoyable jaunt save for the continuous nonsense about ties and blazers.
The movie on the other hand was a bit half arsed.

^Yep, the killing and stuff in the movie was very lame, but I think it was worth a watch just for Christian Bale's performance as Bateman, which must be the most humorous portrayal of a homicidal maniac ever to hit the big screen.

^Brett Easton Ellis or something like that.

Hmmm... looks like this has got off to a Geoff Boycott style start....

I just finished reading Adam Gilchrists auto biography, now there is a good bloke and fine cricketer.

^CMN you are becoming somewhat of a post whore. Trolls about your imaginary double life are all well and good and, to a certain extent, mildly amusing, but your threads in issues are nothing more than a rentboy bending over showing his nude arse with the words "Enter here" tattooed on his left and right bum cheeks respectively.

I, myself, had a quick prod, but will not be so easily seduced by your gaping anal cavity as such posters as SK, Surasak and Macha, cos I know you haven't washed it and in truth you're only in it for the post count and are faking it every time.

I actually bought this book for the sole reason it was listed by the Bookazine (I think) as one of the best 100 books written in the 20th century AND that it was banned in Singapore.

Thought it was pretty good, funny at times, weird ending.

The movie, on the other hand, was a real disappointment.

^I think if you read a book first, the film is nearly always a disappointment.

I watched the film first and thought it was rather good although the ending was a slight anticlimax and the killing was quite tame, but I still find myself laughing out loud at some points.

I'm yet to finish the book, I'm enjoying it so far and will report back later.

^A couple of quick singles and Boycott can see this being an easy half century, although he still seems haunted by what has now been named "the Syd Barrett controversy"

Have you started bringing a nailgun when you go on dates?

^No, but I have been buying a lot of power tools including a hammer drill and angle grinder which I'm sure can be use to a certain effect.

Good stuff, but the nail gun comes in handy if your date wants to leave. Provided you have a wooden floor, that is....

The concept of oral sex has also taken on a new meaning after reading that book........

I like the rat in the fanny bit.

    Think that's top notch.

I cracked one off whilst reading that bit.
