Cheers, I've got the football world cup sorted, It's showing on Astro Sport. Now just need to fix the rugby and cricket.

How it turn out FP?

Knew that DNET(?) SS 1 thru x were going off soon by the end of May but BTV here in the Dark Side took about 24 hours to reprogram their platform around 06-06-10.

No SS, MNET 1 and 2 and FTV (hey, they show Skinemax starting at 05h00!).

The Astro SS channel that I was receiving was nothing but a tease for those subscribers to get PPV selections for their channels 804 to 810.

Cuurently watching RSA-MEX in Thai TV 3. No English feeds this time!

It was a close one because it started to rain at 10 to 9 so we lost all pictures on Astro and True. Also I had a problem with the 811 Super Sport channel. It was saying 'press the red r button to go to the world cup', but when you pressed it nothing happened.

Luckily with 2 mins till the game the screens came back on and I found the match with English commentary on channel 801. Astro Arena.

Minor panic but it worked out fine

I tried having the sound on through Astro and the picture on true HD but there was a 2 sec lag on the hd channel so I scrapped it and just went with the Astro pic and sound.

Gave up with the Thai 'commentary' and am listening to Radio 5, with occasional forays into the living room when something interesting happens.

I shall rig up some speakers for the England game tomorrow. One of the Chinese channels I have has a large delay, so hopefully it'll sync better than the Thai channels do.

Our local cable has Astro, but haven't found 801 yet. I'll give them a call tomorrow.
